After reading the reviews on this, we decided to try it. The service was poor at best. Staff very unengaging. Salad was wilted and browned and there was a bone in my husband's open faced turkey sandwich and he didn't get his roll. My husband said the chicken soup was good and my cottage cheese was fine. We really didn't even eat hardly any of it.
Reason why I love this place you're always greeted with a smile, if you want something someone will try to get it to you ASAP. This place is a family restaurant, where you can bring your kids relax and be yourself. The food is great, the atmosphere is warm and friendly,so I personally invite each and every one of you to come on down and try out Lowell Street Cafe's hospitality. See you there!
Food was hot and fresh. Not seasoned well, I had the chopped sirloin and it tasted like a beef patty. Seeing as how they have a more mature crowd I understand the lack of salt/pepper but a little garlic or onions would have made it perfect. Coffee wasn't very hot either.
This is a lovely family style diner. Smaller seating area but definitely worth the stop. Staff is friendly, food is usually quick to come out and always large portions for a cheap price. Definitely recommend if in the area or coming through.
We eat at Lowel Street about three times a month. The food is great, the servers are friendly, and we see many of the same people each time we are there, which means we are not the only ones that enjoy it. They treat my grand daughter like the princess she is! We love Mandy!!!
Good food. Great prices. Very friendly staff.
Ordered breakfast. Scrambled eggs still runny. Sausage still raw in middle. Homefries were still hard. Ordered wheat toast was given white. Price was good. Quality of food way sub par. I won't be eating there anytime soon for breakfast. May try a lunch sometime and hope it fares better.
Awesome food, friendly wait staff, and a nice cozy diner feeling, that's so hard to find these days.
Had the most excellent breakfast here this morning. I'm from Alabama. Up to visit. His brother stopped here. The food was delicious. And the service was SUPER! One of those "mom-n-pop's" family owned atmospheres. When you're food comes out and you wished you would have gotten what your friend ordered, cause it looks just as delicious as yours.
Service is horrible. Mean woman. She’s been there for a while. Awesome has that smug look. If you’re a regular you are fine. Even my pops doesn’t like this place. Having the name “Cafe” is a lie. Low quality. No specialty coffee drinks. Just diner food that cost more. But that lady...jeez just retire already.
