Lone Star is a great local college. I never had any problems as a student there. I have earned two Associate degrees from Lone Star. I took most of my classes online and I had great professors. I utilized the library at the University Park campus on a weekly basis for a quiet, professional study environment. I have a quality education because of Lone Star College.
The financial aid lady Camillia Tillis RUDE. Always sitting down doing nothing. Never looks happy! Another bald black man also Rude and always seem mad/bitter. I been dealing with them for years. Time goes by and they still are the same! None of them are friendly or helpful in the Financial aide office! Also dealt with discrimination/racism at this place. The building is beautiful but not so much from the people. The advisors are great, the police are always friendly. Its the impolite ones in the FA office!
loved my experience with the online services they provided! given that there are some ups and downs that come with life, and I didn't have the best experience with some professors, I loved the growth it inspired in me.

Good school. They have really taken the steps to ensure the safety of the staff and students against the virus. The advisors are helpful and knowledgeable. It was easy to get into the testing center and take the entrance test. Parking is easy.
After calling 4 different schools to get some assistance, Kate from the business office was the most helpful and resolved my issue within 20 minutes. Amazing customer service!! Thank you again.
I'm enjoying the atmosphere around the campus. My class is exciting. The professor is incredible, and his attitude makes the class interesting I came here nine years ago and felt so comfortable that I returned.
I have never been so ashamed of a school before. I have a few friends who go here. Quite a few of the staff and professors are unprofessional and have an attitude with students of which is uncalled for. These adults call themselves professionals when they need to check their attitude and professionalism. Two families I know have taken their kids out because of the poor management and treatment to kids who specifically have done nothing wrong. Specifically the highschool program here. Shameful. Why are you in the people business if you are horrible to people? I suggest finding a better school that treats you with respect and dignity. Trust me there are better options other than coming home crying about being bullied by teachers.

I have had some issues in the past and present with registration and financial aid... but they are a very affordable college with some very good-hearted people who work with you to try to help you toward your degree. Campus is very clean and stylish... and course offerings are constantly improving. I feel at home on campus. Such a relaxed, comfortable building.
