Delicious! I wish it was closer to my home. The drive to Rancho Cordova is worth it. The place is delicious. Everything was prepared to perfection. So delicious. I ate so much. It was so good I could not stop. It was like a Persian food dream. I am not a salad eater. Their salad and house dressing was divine! Pooyan was an excellent host and Al was a very good server. Next time I am eating Saffron Ice Cream.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at the charming Shahrzad and I must say that it left an indelible mark on my taste buds. From the moment I stepped into the warm and inviting atmosphere, I knew I was in for a treat. I was greeted and seated by a sweet host Nika. Within seconds of being seated I was greeted by my server AJ. His knowledge of their menu that offers a variety of authentic dishes that is rich in flavors and expertly prepared. This was my first time eating at a Persian restaurant and AJ was very patient with me and I highly appreciate it that. I ended up ordering the Chicken Soltani which came with a chicken skewer and one of ground beef/lamb mix, rice and salad. Each bite was a delightful journey, taking you to the heart of Iran's culinary traditions. Whether you're a fan of kebabs, aromatic stews, or fluffy Persian rice my favorite, SHAHRZAD will not disappoint. Besides the exceptional food, the service provided by AJ was wonderful. Shahrzad is full of attentive staff that deserves accolades. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to guide you through the menu, ensuring that your dining experience is perfect. Their genuine passion for the cuisine and dedication to customer satisfaction is truly amazing.
I loved this Persian restaurant! The quality of food was amazing, the service was great and fast and the vibe was so good too, with the live music! We ordered ghorme Sabzi with tahdig for appetizer, fesenjan and chicken Soltan koobideh and thigh chicken Kabab. They all tasted great! I would definitely come back!Recommended dishesChicken Kabob
We had lunch this afternoon for lunch and were impressed by the quality of the food. We tried different appetizers and kabobs and fish. All were cooked to perfection - we had carried our own white wine, SB that complemented the food. The ambience and service was good. From the photos we were expecting to have table cloth and cloth napkins, but was not the case. Portions are good for dinner, thus we had some leftovers. The salad was little more sour with lime than was explained. The spicy kabobs combination was absolutely delicious and our friends loved their kabobs and rice as well. Definitely will revisit for lunch on a weekday or dinner over the weekends. All in all, a great dining experience of Persian food.
Great customer experience and our waiter Mashallah was wonderful. Food as always was best!! Miss the pita platter with greens and feta cheese that was complimentary before. Another great experience at Sherzaad. Customer service was fantastic, helped customize, and got grilled jalapeno on the side for spiciness.
OMG! The food was good! I am a picky person but everything was perfect! Great food with awesome customer service! The salad dressing was game changer! But I wish they had complementary dessert for my birthday!
This is by far the best restaurant I have been in the area. Live music, delicious dishes Lamb Shank is my favorite and nice professional stuff made this evening memorable. AJ served us and I can do nothing but express highest gratitude for his service. Highly recommend for occasions like once a month family dinner at least.
Delicious authentic Persian food. Juicy meet over an amazing zaffron rice. Unique atmosphere. They have live music on weekends .make a reservation and come enjoy your time.Food: 5/5
The food was expensive but that wasn't the point it was low quality it wasn't even good I had high hopes And I was very disappointed after a long day me and my family went here for some quality good food to take home and watch a movie and this is what we got a lot of riceFood: 1/5
We really enjoyed small family gathering this Sunday. Both kind of kababs we ordered in SOLTANI dish was tender, juicy and tasty, waiting time for Sunday was less than 15min, customer service was nice, polite and quick. Especially Parniyan served us rapidly when I asked for real butter and onion. But I have a quick complain that I didn’t want to reduce star for it but I expect the management team pay attention to: 1- Original traditional Chelokabab, always coming with real Butter and onions, it would be better if crew ask to bring it or not instead of customer ask for it. 2- rice portion are way smaller check pictures than Iranian portion in compare to local, L.A.s or even Canadian Persian restaurant, especially when it cost about 40 bucks.
