I have not been there since covid started and was so disappointed. I have a punch card and they would not punch because I didn't order the large only regular size.. Don't remember that ever being the case before.. I used to really like the mac and cheese because it was baked, but it was baked just enough for the cheese on top to melt. And it seemed a lot smaller than I remember and it didn't taste the same.
Anytime I am in Wisconsin, I always make sure I stop at Macs. I love their macaroni and cheese. This was my first time at this location and the customer service was top notch. I really appreciate it when the employees care.
Every time I go to Wisconsin I always make sure to stop by MACS for some high-quality comfort food. This MACS did not disappoint. However, I wish the tables were cleared faster. They were quite a few folks waiting for tables to be cleared.
Went for lunch on a Monday. First time, and staff were patient as I looked at all the choices! I was told that MACS is a Wisconsin-only restaurant for now We got our food after a short wait. They came on cast iron skillets. Everything was delicious! Will definitely be back!!
Ordered the cheeseburger Mac and thus is what I got. I tried giving it the benefit of the doubt took 1 bite and wanted to throw. I loved Macs but I can no longer trust them because of this. The patty looks like it was scraped off the floor and cooked.
This place is definitely being added as a family favorite. Took my mom and my kids this time. Everyone loved the food. The place is nice a clean, plenty of sitting, great customer service. Everyone tried something different and everything was just amazing.
Wow very terrible experience. When we went in, there were people sitting. But nobody in line. We got our orders in right away. Then the crowd came and they got busy. Waited about 20 min for our 3 macs. No big deal, they seemed to be understaffed and stressed. Then when we got our order they gave my fiancé the wrong Mac. So he took it up and requested his correct order. They took it back. Waited an additional 45 MINUTES!? They asked what his order was again, apologized and gave him a free Mac for next time. We continued to wait. They were busy. My fiancé waited for the line to die down at the front. He went up there and requested a refund. They said they would refund his card at the end of the night. When last checked; it was not refunded. Will check again. Unfortunately will not be going back as we spent an hour & 30 minutes waiting for my fiancés order which he had to then eat in the car because at that point my one year old was OVER IT. not a great experience.
It was a last minute stop for a quick on the road meal. Surprised to see so many varieties of Mac& Cheese dishes. We kept it simple with the Mama and a salad. The salad was fresh and hit the spot. The Mama was the variety with hotdog added to it; my kid is really picky with Mac& Cheese and she absolutely loved her meal! raved about it with the rest of the family after we got home.
11/28/2022 Very disappointed in our experience. We came in closer to 7:30/8 pm Looking for a place to sit down and grab a quick bite. We were told by the cashier that they're staff walked out and they would be closing early and would not be able to dine in. Being understand we agree to order and go. As we waited for are food. The cashier was very unfriendly and was very loudly moving and stacking chairs. As we looked in the back there were 3 more employees working. We are not able to dine in as 4 people are working? I don't know I guess I'm just confused.
This place is amazing the food is amazing and so is the service. I just went for my first time and I was impressed! They have so many types of mac and cheeses, and melts but the first mac and cheese dish I tried was the chicken bacon ranch i would recommend coming here.
