I recently moved back to the coulee region from St Paul. Was really impressed with the customer service at the Macy's in La Crosse! I wouldn't even waste my time going into the Macy's in the Mall of Amercia because of the rude workers, but will definitely frequent the one in La Crosse. Had 3 employees come up and assist me. All were very nice and extremely helpful. The clothing quality is great too. Management: thanks for making sure you have great employees... makes a world of difference!
Growing up in La Crosse, I remember going to Valley View Mall and being in awe of Dayton's. It seemed super fancy for our town and it was always the place to get the coolest jeans. On a recent trip home I visited the mall and specifically Macy's. What a dump. Ceiling tiles rotting and falling out. Crap selection. Employees looked like they wanted to die. I'm only giving a second star because it was a nice change of pace from any store Chicago in that the VVM Macy's was barren and we could peruse the aisles unencumbered.
Good assortment of clothes. Decent deals on Nike and Under Armour clothing quite often.
Been coming to LaCrosse for 4 years now and visit Macys once a year. Great store, a little pricey but if the timing is right can get great deal too.
I want to comment "Norma" in the bedding department. She is very friendly and helped me find just what I wanted and most of all helped me save money on what I bought. She informed me of sales I would have missed,, and was genuine throughout.
Actually visited Clinique, which I love. Macy is very lovely store. Clean, inviting and good quality.
Macy's this great but their employees deserve higher pay.
