Really robust selection of dresses. Was dreading shopping for a dress to wear to a wedding but ended up finding three dresses I liked here.
Good shopping experience during a busy sale day. Found dress for sons wedding and a blouse. Sales person was very helpful, making sure I received my star discount manually.
Ordered the Parker upholstered bed frame in Mocha from Garrett in the furniture department. He was so sweet and accommodating! Took a risk purchasing an item we weren’t able to see in person but it turned out to be an absolutely beautiful piece!
Mattress buying is tough for a consumer. If you are going to buy a mattress find a place that allows you you a free exchange and or return policy. Bloomingdale’s takes 15% from your original purchase price just for you to do an exchange. Knowing that they have higher end mattresses this is quite a bit of money. There is NO return policy either just an exchange option. Once you do one exchange and lose 15% that’s all you get. It puts a lot of pressure on the buyer. Also, it would be helpful if the sales staff mentions other mattress’ are available online rather than just selling what’s in the show room. These are way overpriced and if you shop around for mattress’ that aren’t exclusive just to Bloomingdale’s/Macy’s you’ll see they are marked up more than their competitors Plenty of other places and suppliers offer risk free trials. Stay away!
Got a pair of shoes. Service in shoe dept. Was great. Tried on clothes. No associate available anywhere in the women's clothing section. Couldn't find a register to pay for the clothes. So I put them back. Not a pleasant experience without some sort of customer service in the women's dept..
This Macy's at Tyson's is awesome. It's a huge store. Very clean with lots of very sweet employees. this time, A really nice woman help me find exactly what I was looking for. For a large, chain, retail store. I pretty much always find what I need and everybody is always very nice and helpful.
I like Macy's when you really need to find an outfit. The sales prices are important to take advantage of by having a Macy's card. I think the age of the space brings down the experience. The store crams too many items into a rack, making the process of finding a size difficult. It would be great if Macy's would invest in a refresh of their stores.
The workers are attentive especially for a Saturday and I found a good sale on some purses, which was unusual. But the clothes selection was terrible. I couldn't find anything to even try on. I don't know what's been going on for the past few seasons but it's been a long time since I found anything to wear there
I returned my purchase a week after I received it. My purchase was for a total of $480, and I was refunded only $198. When called the customer service to figure out, I was told it’s Macys right to keep that money since I returned their stuffs. They’re literally thieves. Please watch out.
The Macy's here in Tysons Corner is a good department store with a large variety of items. It was easy to find several good options when I went dress shopping with my girls. The staff was very helpful, and our cashier was apologetic for not being fully trained as it was her first day there.
