My experience with Madera was good largely because I had amazing roommates. For my building, I never really had issues finding parking and the road noise wasn’t noticeable since I was near the back of the property. The workers were nice and they sent out emails to residents fairly regularly. I was on the first floor and unfortunately, the people above me threw quite a few late-night parties. Unlike the apartment I’m at right now, Madera doesn’t have any services available to keep this from happening. Also, the smell of weed was something I had no choice but to get used to. My apartment wasn’t in the best condition with lots of cracks in the walls, chips in the baseboard, and stains on the carpet. The apartment gym was VERY disappointing and guests actually have to pay for parking which I think is ridiculous. Toward the end of my lease, the information on my bills became really confusing. A bunch of unexplained fees and dual charges showed up on my last couple of statements. It would have been less of an issue if I had at least known what they were for but the leasing managers never responded to my emails so looks like I’m SOL. Okay apartment complex, not the best.
I truly enjoy living here. The manager is very pleasant and made the process easy. I absolutely the 24 hr service, and the amenities are the icing on the cake!!! I recommend Madera for singles and families alike.
I absolutely love this apartment complex! I’m going to school in the fall and I wanted to tour. Kalista help tour me around the property and I was amazed! She was able to answer every question I had! The staff is so nice! I’m so excited to find my home at Madera!
Don’t listen to these positive reviews! 9/10 of them were payed for by the staff! This place is terrible and if you value your time, money, and sanity you’ll do everything possibly to not get trapped into a lease with them!
I have lived here for 2 years and honestly I loved my experience. Staff and maintenance is always on top of stuff. Yomaida and Ashley really helped me with any arrangement I needed. It’s also a really calm place to live in.
I've been at Madera for over 2 years and I love the living experience it provides. This this community is the best place to live if you are considering being close to La cantera and UTSA. The Amenities are excellent and the staff is amazing.
My daughter just graduated from UTSA. She has have the best experience at Madera from making the amenities 24hrs easy access for my daughter to access during her off time from the staff being on top of making this her first time living away from home a good experience. Thank Madera.
My experience here has been amazing. Yomaida the manager,is always available. I don’t plan on moving soon. Clean community and friendly neighbors!
If there was an option for 0 stars, that’s what I’d rate. This management team is unacceptable. They take months to answer work orders and claim they never got the requests. They are very quick to charge any and all fees and prioritize collecting money from residents and their guests. The gates are always broken and cars/ units are broken into, yet they claim no responsibility. They never answer the phones or emails. Their property management company doesn’t even allow contact which is crazy since management at the complex takes no action. Do not live here unless you want constant problems and an incompetent management team.
I’ve lived at madera for 3 years now. It’s a very nice and simple apartment especially for utsa students, it’s the perfect space of distance away from campus if you like the privacy!
