Discrimination/prejudice by some staff. Also unprofessional staff. Some staff were complaining about their manager and called him an “idiot.” Instead of saying hi to me they talked about how “incompetent” he is. Almost all of the staff looked liked they dreaded working there….I was “dressed down” and was never acknowledged. I had 6 items I was holding. The male employee working the sale section on 1/14/23 acknowledged everyone but me and asked them to hold their items while they shopped. He and other staff never said anything to me but I noted that he assisted everyone in his section and asked if they needed help. I have Madewell “star” status and it’s my favorite store. I’m assuming because of my casual outfit I didnt fit a certain look. This has happened at another Madewell store when I lived in Texas. Very uncomfortable experience. Won’t shop there again.
I checked online that they had a turtleneck i wanted in stock, couldn't find it in store by myself, asked a sales rep to check inventory and she said they had 3 in my size, proceeded to not help me find it. i asked a different rep to help find it, she said it's in the back in a box and wouldn't look through the boxes for it. she said i should be able to get it from the mosaic location nearby. are you kidding me!? save your time and just go to mosaic.
The girl with the red hair and colored eyes gave off bad vibes. She seemed like she did not want to work her shift just off of how she spoke to my mother as we were checking out. I know you probably had a bad day, that doesn’t mean you can project it to everyone else.
This rating is for the Madewell Online store, which I can't rate on Google unfortunately. I made an online order with a birthday coupon, but after waiting 5 weeks, I received the wrong items. The items I wanted to order were out of stock and I was only offered a refund or honoring the discounted price on those items if they were in stock. For the items I did receive, Madewell wanted me to pay for them or drive to UPS/USPS to return them. How convenient for Madewell. I wouldn't mind this so much if I didn't have to go out of my way to fix someone else's mistake. Perhaps Madewell should give their associates more leeway to remedy these kinds of situations.
I was just in there today. I swear I genuinely love this mall. But every time I go into a Madewell store the employees are very nice. When I went in the store I was immediately greeted. The employees were very nice here made my visit very welcoming. I recommend coming to this location.
I ran into the store stressed and in a time crunch. Rachel helped me find not only one but two pairs of jeans that fit and feel fantastic. Five out of five stars for Rachel the angel in the jean department who knows how to fit jeans and work with a frantic customer like myself. Thank you.

I've been here twice and each time the staff is friendly, knowledgeable of their Jeans, and offer appreciated honest opinions. Also, I could absolutely live in my Madewell jeans. Worth it!
Workers were friendly, store vibe poppin. Overall great experience. A worker named Rachal was a huge help in finding exactly what I wanted for a gift!
Sara went extra mile to look for an item for me and she was super friendly! Outstanding customer service! Thank you!!
