Description
The Madisonville Historic Museum is located in the town's historic courthouse and jail built in 1911. The building is on the National Registry of Historical Places and features displays of Civil War artifacts, Native American artifacts, Shipbuilding history as well local legends and historical information on some of the founding families. Admission to the museum is free.
