This park is beautiful, there are so many different sights to see just from the trail alone! I went while there's still snow out so the view from the trail has the perfect area for taking pictures of both the mountain and the creek. No matter what season you visit Mammoth, if you want to take a breather and take a nice walk, Mammoth Creek Park is a nice little area to visit!
This park was a beautiful stop for us on our long drive. The playground looks updated and is in great shape. There is an area for toddlers as well as bigger kids. The creek is on the other side of the restrooms and an easy walk for little ones. Lots of picnic tables and grassy areas with mountain views. I will say the clean bathrooms have no toilet seat, just a metal bowl which was cold in July. So, I don’t recommend using it during colder months unless you and your party members don’t mind squatting.
Beautiful little trails along the creek, perfect for walking your dog.
So cute and fun. We camped on the Mammoth Scenic Loop, it was beautiful! We spent part of the day at this park. Lots of trails, good playground equipment, a beautiful stream, neat rocks to climb.
New playground is amazing. Fun for everyone. Lots of grass to hang out. Big rocks for kids bouldering. Creek close by. Nice bathroom.
Nice playground. We loved the walking path with a tunnel under the road to access the beautiful Mammoth Loop trail. Some pretty foot bridges and lovely views of the mountain.
This park is CLOSED!! Such a shame, it was a beautiful fun park my kids loved. They knew when we went grocery shopping we were going to the park.
The equipment is owed for COVID19 but it looks amazing. And the little creek was fun for my son to wade in.
The park has undergone a renovation, and is truly a beautiful and well thought out place to bring your children. We look forward to coming here and letting the kids play while we relax under the shade. With the creek running nearby we can explore even more and get our feet wet to cool off.
This was a great park in a convenient location but the town of mammoth is building a new covered ice rink and event center on this land now. Tentatively scheduled to open for winter opening week 2021. You can find another kids play park near the skate park about 2 miles down the walking path towards the edge of town.
