You’ll find a stunning view of the snowy mountain range behind this Vons at golden hour. Easily the most breathtaking views at a grocery store I’ve personally encountered in my life. The store itself complements the view with a fully stocked selection of the finest goldfish and frozen pizzas to keep your snack attacks and dinners easy for your snowboarding trip with the boys.
Update: I'm not doing your job for you, how about YOU get in touch with the store director. I already called your corporate number when you had caution tape all over your refrigeration sections and notes stating "they need to come up to temp" ... Well equiped large supermarket. Small backpacking section pass the self checkout carrying freez dried food and other accessories Swiss army knifes, plates, cord, etc..
Probably the most over priced grocery in a resort area I've ever seen. Selections are decent but the meat dept lacks a lot to say the least, very few choices. As far as going in the mornings better have 15 minutes to burn. Always understaffed at check out. Mostly forestry guys and construction workers grabbing their lunch box supplies. Dont aee why self checkout isnt open early. Always 10 or more people in line for 1 cashier
Very clean, attractive and well-organized, with very reasonable prices, especially with their discount card which you can enroll in with only your phone number. Much nicer experience and less expensive than advertised local discount grocery stores. Very good selection.
It's the only major grocery store in Mammoth, it's a normal Vons except for the fact in the winter this place is a zoo.. all the skiers hott his place after q day on the slopes, so always go here before 5pm..
Busy Sunday before a storm so quite crowded and somewhat long lines. Out of stock of water and other storm items, but pretty good selection of everything else you'd want. Produce was a stand out.
The employees only care they have a job not helping customers who wish to go thru the Express lane with 5 items. They closed right as I walked up and said I could use self-service. Very, very rude and unprofessional. They need to get their act together if they want business...
Generally a pretty good Vons with better than average selection of products. But with tons of visitors having a mountain vacation in the age of Covid, crazy busy and a little too crowded for my taste. Masks required but no enforcement of distancing. And a lot of people on vacation don’t seem too concerned about distancing or wearing their masks over their noses. They do provide sanitizer for carts. You can use your own bags as long as you bag your own groceries.
I was cooking for everyone and headed to Vons. Despite snow outside, the place was clean and dry. I was disappointed that the only truffle oil that I could find was less than half an ounce. Why bother? produce was fresh and I found most everything I needed.
