Now leasing 21,000 s.f. shopping center (currently under construction) for retail, restaurant, merchant, and medical space at 383 Sunrise Highway, Manorville NY 11949.
About the developer: General contractor and developer Mr. Kenneth Roy Jr. has been working with his family-owned heavy construction company for more than 35 years. As President of Pam Sweeping and Powerhouse Paving, Ken has developed these companies into two of the tri-states most prominent private construction companies, specializing in commercial building maintenance. Joining the group in 2004 was Orange Sewer and Drain, specializing in commercial septic and drainage cleaning.
Now Ken takes his expertise to developing his own shopping center. On June 16th, 1999 he went into closing on a commercially zoned property in Manorville, NY. For the past 15 years Ken has worked diligently with the Town of Brookhaven and Suffolk Country Health Department to obtain permits and site plan approval. In August 2013, building permits were finally granted and shortly thereafter the land was cleared.
Construction underway: In early 2014 extensive site work began to ready the property for construction. Retaining walls, foundation walls, parking lot drainage, and curbs were among the first items to be constructed. Next, underground plumbing and concrete block walls were installed. Although construction had a slow start in it's first year, we're happy to see better weather approaching as we're determined to finish developing the center in the 2015 calendar year.
Now leasing: We are currently seeking additional tenants to join Carlo's Pizzeria and Restaurant. Their lease was signed in June 2014 for a 3,000 s.f., 49 seat restaurant. Additional suites are available, up to 18,000 s.f. for retail, medical, take-out, restaurant, or merchant space. Both end-caps are still available and we're especially pursuing an anchor tenant.
