Great campground! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of sites with shade. The bath house is literally a house with full bathrooms and was very clean. Will definitely be coming back here
My family and I went camping here the summer of 2022 and loved it! The campground was very well kept and clean. The owners do a wonderful job of making you feel welcomed. Additionally, there was a beautifully kept shower house which was much appreciated! My family loved it here and hope we can return sometime!
It has been over a week since I stayed at Maple Springs and I still enjoy the memories! The host, Andy, was very helpful and accommodating. The grounds were clean and well kept. I definitely plan to return with my grandchildren. They will love it as well. Bobbie Jeanne, MN Restrooms: Clean and convenient
Fun place to camp! The campgrounds were a good size and had electrical outlets and water access. The campgrounds does have 2 bathrooms with showers and toilets which are located inside a house. If you’re not into rustic sites, these are perfect for those who want to enjoy the outdoors but still have access to electricity, running water, and bathrooms. There is also Wi-Fi! If you want rustic sites, they have those too. Our camp sites were near a small stream which have trouts so we were able to enjoy a bit of fishing. Overall, we had a wonderful time!
Great place to camp. Thanks for a great weekend as always. And rib fest was a great surprise. I’ll bring tums next time. Restrooms: Restrooms are pretty basic, but clean. Showers are really awesome actually!
It was my first time being down to southern Minnesota, my husband and I went and took a tour of the mystery cave and stayed here and Jen and Andy were so helpful and so nice! Jen even drove us to our tent site which was ontop of the bluffs and absolutely breath taking and helped take our stuff up the hill. They have wifi available which is awesome since the service doesn't work to well there. Overall a great experience.
The setting at this campground is just breath taking! AND then there is the wagon rides for your group……….don’t miss this! Andy the owner is awesome and makes your stay even better!!! Don’t miss this beautiful little gem!
Was on the way home to GA from WY with our horses on Labor Day weekend. Short notice, needed a place to lay over a few days, they were full, but the owners accommodated us! It was a beautiful place and close enough to ride to the Forestville S.P. trails nearby. We really appreciated their hospitality!!
Nice quiet campground nestled in a valley. Andy the host is very accommodating. We had a spot reserved for 3 days. It had rained heavily the day before and our spot was soaked. He had a seasonal full hookup available and let us have that for same price. He furnished a 50 amp converter plug which we needed for our 30 amp cord. They have a nice little store with basic groceries and other items. Firewood is available and they will delivery it to your site. Frisbee golf and a nice little dog park. Majority of sites are level and offer shade
I love this little campground. My wife and I have camped there several times. My buddy and I get a day pass to park on the campground several times a year and fish the adjacent creek, one of our favorites in the region. It is a quiet campground and the tent sites are far away from the road and very quiet. I've read the other reviews about the rules and the owners being 'too strict'. Their rules and 10mph speed limit are pretty standard for any campground and not out of line. They have always been courteous to my wife and I and my friends. They care about their campground and campers looking for a peaceful getaway. Just be respectful of the owners and other campers and don't break the rules as they are clearly marked, and they'll treat you well.
