Very interesting place. I was told by locals it served the best burgers around. I was not disappointed but it did take 40 minutes to get in the middle of a slow afternoon crowd. The layout is neat, the bartenders were chatty and wonderful to converse with but all in all I have to stay with a three star rating.Service: 5/5
We only went to the restaurant we did not stay on the resort. I recommend this restaurant, the food was incredibly good! There was quite the wait but our waitress was communicating with us the whole time letting us know about our food. I highly recommend getting the fried pickles and the tator tots! The wraps are also very good! The French fries aren’t very good.
Nice campground! Clean bathrooms, nice pool too! The bartender at the restaurant Thursday night made a GREAT long island. Our spot was a bit too sunny for our liking and the sites aren't very private BUT with the bike trail right there and a pool and a river to fish and float in that didnt matter much. Great family campground.
The customer service here is AMAZING!! Jill and Travis went above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent! My son and I came to Preston so he could fly fish for trout, not only did they give us great locations, but they also gave us some great tips!! Which was fantastic because we don’t have trout where we live. If you are even remotely considering staying at the Old Barn Resort, do. They have done everything to deserve glowing reviews and have earned a repeat customer!! We can’t wait to come back next year!!! Thank you!!!
It was a great weekend away. We did not have great phone service but it was much needed! Food in restaurant was great, kids enjoyed the pool and we loved all the biking pathsRooms: 5/5
We ordered two salads. After waiting 50 minutes for the salads that never arrive — and seeing others who ordered after us receive their food — we left. Waitress was friendly, but the wait was absurdly long and they were not that busy.Service: 1/5
This is the 2nd time for chicken strips, which was really chicken jerky. So over cooked there was no chicken meat. And I feel they are overpriced for what you get. My husband had the ribs for a 2nd time and they were very dry. Also they do not give you any extra bbq sauce. Service was excellent, could not have been any better. Drinks are a little pricey as well. Shawnee’s in Rushford has excellent chicken strips, taco salad and burgers, also drinks are very reasonable.
Second time here, and I have never had good food at a place, and decided I'm not going back. It takes way too long. 1 order of cheese curds, 2 side salads, 4 chix strips, and 6 individual ribs. Four of us got there at 1210. We left at 2. It looks like high-schoolers are cooking back in the kitchen. Once the adults got on line it helped. The fried food is hand battered, but I also think that, it is a hindrance to the flow. I would think the ribs would already be warm, if they were smart they would par fry the tenders before service starts. That saves a lot of time. The kitchen is poorly run, with no leadership, and this place has absolutely no urgency what so ever.
Always a great experience every time I visit. The food is great, the staff are friendly, and the service is quick and effortless!Rooms: 5/5
Golf course is in really good shape for as dry as it is. Burger was great after the round.Service: 5/5
