Private medicine has become the largest Scam in the country. If at all possible do not go to this Hospital. If you are a veteran go to the VA Hospital, any VA facility with exception of Detroit Dingle Dump. Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, these are fine. Private medical system specifically St.Marys is terrible. You are just a number and a payday to them. They will not take responsibility or accountability for anything. If you do go take a camera or recording device discreetly. So you can remember the 10 to 15 medical personnel you will encounter. They tell you only there first name, smile and play nice, so when they screw you, then you're left helpless. Because No one is able to remember every single nurse and intern, then rack up an astronomically high bill, for every band-aid and needless BS you don't truly need.
St Mary's Mercy is a excellent hospital. The individual patient attention is the best I've seen.
