Martin's Food Market

Martins is a great experience, depending on your needs. The store has a very large variety of items. I tend to come to this location if other stores are out of items. I had issues finding a certain almond milk, which they did have the one I wanted to get. The store is very clean, but with different sales each week, certain items are moved around, and I have to find a staff member. The staff that are stocking are superfriendly and very helpful. With checking out, it depends on when you go. I know one of the guys that has been at the checkout is very sociable and nice. Others not so much. Lines are long, and it is a wait. The deli has a very nice variety, but it's a decent wait. Besides awesome staff that are stocking, the produce is normally the best in the area. I go for milk and produce when I shop. Other items I get at other stores in the area. The prices are high and a lot of times even on sale other stores are cheaper. The ailes in the store are not as wide and can be difficult when there are several people in the aisle. The Martin's brand is a high-quality product and would recommend it. We have gotten chips, popcorn, and different kinds of noodles. Also there meat products are very good. It is nice to shop, but the hassle with finding the item, waiting in line, and the cashiers have rang up items incorrectly by scanning twice or putting the wrong vegetable in which cost more. Getting one or two items, it normally isn't worth it for myself. You have to say hi to Marty when you're in, you will see him scooting around. Specialty food items or certain allergies they have a lot of variety, and no other store has the items in the DuBois area. I would shop more, but with: Inconsistent cashiers Long lines Trouble finding items that were moved And higher prices, I tend to shop other stores. If you need specialty food due to an allergy, I would go here.

Kinda pricey, but they have a good variety.. much of it unique to their own store.. & it's always clean/organized well.

A well stocked grocery with options for specialized meals as well as everyday fare. Amazing selection of fresh produce and in store made foods. Prices have always run higher, but it's worth a trip if you're looking to host and prepare different meals.

There are many things I like about this grocery store. It's very clean and the self-checkout is convenient. But the customer service, communication and knowledge of products in this store is terrible. Today I called, spoke to a woman in customer service and was assured an item was in stock. I sent my husband to the store only to be told the item is discontinued and they didn't have it. This is not the first time this has happened, I've had similar experiences. Waste of time, poor communication. Very frustrating experiences with this store.

Two years in a row I have ordered a cake for our stores anniversary celebration. 2 years in a row its wrong. First year was misspelled. Second year wasn't even done the way we asked. At all. This will be the second year I've had to scrape and redecorate a cake that was too embarrassing to show in photos.

You missed the whole point. Because we are not from the area and did not have a "card', your cashier would not honor the sale prices, and ripped us off for about $5, rather rudely, I might add. In all other stores we have encountered, the cashier has used a store card. She did notsaying they did not have one, nor did she offer any information on how to get a card as she stood there with a rather smug look on her face. And you think I should return to your store?

Awesome stuff!! But please stock more diet green tea, Turkey Hill. Most of the time there is none!

Martins have a great market with a semi-friendly staff, clean presentation, and the high prices that can be directly attributed to the Biden presidency.

Great store, much nicer and better than giant eagle imo. Kids love the robot floor sweeper too lol
