Its a classic fried chicken place with traditional sides similar to another local spot called DixieFried Chicken which has closed sadly. Good tasting food, fried chicken, potato salad and baked beans.
Paid all that money for pigeon wings Not chicken They tasted good just bad how small they areFood: 1/5
Overall experience was not great. The counter help was non-existent and no personality The three-piece all white with mashed potatoes and potato salad and never received none of the sides. Only the three piece of the chicken which was dry atmosphere was really bad and for just me and the restaurant when I ordered to make the mistakes they made is unforgivable. That was my first and last time to visit this so-called restaurant. Never going there again and I will suggest nobody go there either or else you'll be sorry
This place is a hidden gem. It's one of those places that's easy to miss, is in a small plain looking building on the side of the highway. The wings here are phenomenal and reasonably priced. They don't have as many fancy wing flavors that other places have but their hot, medium and mild outshine all other commercial places by far. When you're handed your wings, the sauce drips out of the container if you're not careful and get everywhere. I absolutely love that! That's how wings should be.
i've had the gizzard dinner with green beans and turnip greens twice now, gotta say im a big fan.Food: 5/5
Chicken was not fresh at all. Taste like it's been sitting for a few hours. I was very disappointed. I couldn't bring it back because I didn't taste it until I got home and I don't live no where near the restaurant.Food: 1/5
The food is delicious but the owner is ripping people off. There is no sign saying there is an up charge for white meat. To order a 3 piece that shows as $10.35 and then the total comes out to be almost $13 is ludicrous! This is not a good business practice
No soap in the bathroom, and when I ask about it I was told we know there is non!! I had to borrow some from the kitchen ! Food tasted funny..my kids didn't like it either!..no AC! Very bad experience.
Oldest restaurant in Union Park to remain in business since opening. Inside dining is pretty dated, but the damn chicken is Off The Charts with deliciousness! I was very disappointed in the choice of sides- no fries!
I love the fried gizzards they are the "best" so very tender and I crave them....chicken meals are delicious as well....Food: 5/5
