I recently buried my father at the Veteran section of Melrose and did a walk-in inquiry. The dialog consisted of the plaque being $1000 if using U.S.A. granite material with engraving and design included. The sales associate wrote down the details totaling $2000. Why his verbal price quote and what was written on paper didn’t match is beyond me. But it gets better! I am a stickler for honesty and integrity, so I did not settle for what I was offered at Maver’s. I then called Melrose and inquired about a plaque for my Dad and come to find out, the VA will provide the plaque free upon written request?! What?! I laughed at other reviews speaking about how wonderful their encounters were. What was it that made my experience different? They would have gladly taken my money for lack of knowledge. Yet, very common knowledge for businesses as such! So shameful! Hopefully others can learn from my experience. This world we live in is not a nice place!
I'm so happy I found this place. Thumbs-up, they did a fabulous Job on my Grandma's headstone. Very professional and attentive. Everything was really quick and stress-free.
Our family had an excellent experience with Maver Memorials. John was a blessing to work - he is a good communicator, empathetic and knowledgeable. Our headstone was delivered on-time and we love it.
I’m an employee of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish and cemeteries in Bridgewater and in my 4 years working here I have no doubts that this Is the best memorial company around. I hesitate to use the word company because they are really just a family who cares about the service they provide. They have always been on time for every foundation and stone. They always answer the phone and any questions you may have with respect and professionalism. I have worked with both John and Mike many times and can assure you that they are the best in the business. If you go with any other memorial company in southeastern Massachusetts, you went to the wrong place.
This is the best place to get just the right insmemorial for your loved one. John really listened, made suggestions and was infinitely patient. His incredible drafting skills made it easy to visualize the finished headstone. It was installed a few days ago and is exactly what I pictured and planned. Thank you, Maver Memorials for making a difficult process easy and for a beautiful lasting memory.
The last thing that a person needs during a period of grief is for complications to arise. John made certain that that was not going to be my experience . John Assisted me in addressing all my options and everything went off without a hitch After chasing the cemetery who shall remain nameless out of sheer kindness alone over a year to install a granite marker. Granite marker was delivered to the cemetery August 10th and I am still waiting. I appreciate John demeanor and I must point out the fact that he even went the extra mile and tried to contact the cemetery via email regarding my situation. As far as I am concerned, that is going above and beyond what is expected of him; and it was much appreciated. Maver made a frustrating situation less frustrating than it would have been
When dealing with a headstone for a loved one it can be a tough subject but with Maver Memorials they were so supportive and helpful. I highly recommend them for all your memorial needs.

Amazing place because the people are amazing, my husband and I can't thank them enough especially for their compassion. Our sons plaque is absolutely beautiful.
Got my parents beautiful headstone from here, and it came out so good also they let you do payment arrangements
