This park is really nice. We had a 5th birthday party in the park area and walked over to the pool to enjoy some swim time. This is definitely a nice family friendly park/pool.
Loved this park. I have been going since I was a child now I take my sweet daughters... Baseball, pool, playground, and a skate park area. Everything is opened again they had closed the playground area last year. The red swings don't work properly so beware before you put your kids in them.
Classic good park, fun skate park. Small playground with woodchips piled up. Good swimming pool though. Wonderful shade all around.
Always clean, safe, and lovely. I like walking the path, and my kids enjoy watching the skate boarders. It's nice to catch a baseball game occasionally. We love this park!!!
Great Park... has playground, adult fitness equipment, pavilion, bathrooms, and baseball field.
Fun little skate park. Could use a little up keep but overall lots of fun. Not too crowded so great place for beginners.
Great Park plenty of space Picture taken on "Decatur Day 2017"
Nice park for high school baseball
We went to this pool at the last minute because Glenlake pool was PACKED. I really enjoyed myself here. It was WAY less crowded than Glenlake and I counted at least 3 lifeguards. The head lifeguard really knew what he was doing and kept a great eye on everyone. He was very nice and knew several of the children by name. The pool area was underwhelming at first - I think it's an older pool and just doesn't seem as bright and new BUT give it a chance. It has a zero-entry or "beach entry" area for the little ones and anyone who just wants to wade and there is a splash fountain in that area. Then it gets gradually deeper and maxes out at 4 ft 6 in at the deep end. There are stairs in the 2 feet area and ledges to sit/climb on build in some of the sides. There are at least 3 picnic tables and there are 2 MASSIVE umbrellas that look like circus tent tops. They need a good scrub but are nice for shade. Lots of lounge chairs. They have life jackets to borrow. TL;DR - Not as flashy or new as some pools but definitely worth a try if you want to avoid the crowds.
We love this park. It has a great playground for the little kids and a skate park for my older one. It is close enough to bike here and is close to Oakhurst so lunch or dinner is an easy jaunt from the park. The pool is absolutely a wonderful aspect over the summer too. There are fire ants that occasionally can be an issue, mostly over the summer. Just be cautious.
