I had a beautiful Master's Graduation Celebration here in May and the team was incredible. Sandra, the event coordinator, was so lovely and made sure everything was taken care of. It made the experience so stress-free. The food was incredible... all of the guests were talking about the appetizer buffet. I am still dreaming about the deviled eggs... Sandra and her team did an amazing job ensuring everyone had a delightful experience. No one went without a beverage! Everyone was well taken care of. The atmosphere was perfect. Sandra worked with me to ensure we could utilize their charming patio and thankfully, the weather was perfect. The details throughout the room and the patio created such a magical experience. I could not recommend them more -- it was a perfect place to host an event. Thank you, Sandra and everyone at Parker's on Ponce!
Love the ambiance at this place. We requested a seat on the patio on a beautiful, quiet night. Although we were seated immediately, it took a while before a server appeared due to a miscommunication. I took a break from vegan restrictions to incorporate some iron into my diet and went with the salmon. It was good. I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce and potatoes. We also started with calamari, which didn’t pack a lot of flavor unless you fished out some of the peppers from the bottom. I actually cut into a lemon slice that was battered and fried with the calamari and ate it because I assumed it was squash. Be warned! The service was friendly and attentive once things got rolling, and they did compensate us for the initial delay. I am always grateful when establishments acknowledge a misstep. This is a nice spot to gather with friends for a quiet meal and some drinks. Try them.
This place is amazing. From the host I forgot his name to the wait staff exceptional. Our waiter Taylor was fantastic made great suggestions. My Valentines day drink was awesome sweet kiss I believe. I ordered the shrimp and grits sausage on the side my hubby ate them and he ordered the scallops delicious. Highly recommended! Lastly the manager was great he made sure that our heater was set up properly it was a little chilly and we sat outside... still such a nice atmosphere!
Another great time at Parker’s on Ponce! I was so thankful that they could accommodate 3 hungry ladies at the last minute due to restaurant was packed on a Saturday evening. The manager reserved a spot for us at the bar and we had the best service from start to finish. The bar attendants were fabulous and attentive made plenty of suggestions for dinner. I went with the the pork chops and it was AMAZING! Will definitely be back again! Also, if you get the chance, try the Salmon Dip!
Great Restaurant and Great Ambience to host our friends from out of town. The Ribeye and the Surf and Turf Filet were some of the best prepared steaks I’ve ever eaten. Also the shrimp and Grits were great. highly recommendDietary restrictions accommodatedGluten free
Had a work dinner here. It’s has a nice charming, low-key atmosphere. The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Be sure to try the goat cheese beignets. They are wonderful. So much so I’d go back just to get an order myself that I wouldn’t have to share. Overall a very nice experience. I’d definitely eat here again.
The service was EXCELLENT! Our waiter was Blair and he was GREAT. It was our first time there for our Anniversary and they presented us with a card and free dessert. Will definitely return. I got the Bone in Chop!!! Their collard greens are savory. I wanted to eat it ALL but wanted some for later.Food: 5/5
I grew up in the area and come to the area to dine often and have passed Parker’s on Ponce for years, but never stopped in to give them a try. I went on a date after work on a Thursday, and we agreed to eat here. We got there fairly early 3:30 ish… I didn’t see any other customer there at that time. We decided to sit at the bar and just about every chair at the bar was filthy big turn off. I voiced that to my date and the host overheard me and cleaned the stools major plus. The ladies room was clean darker than most. The stalls are on the smaller side. The food… the smoked salmon dip was interesting andI have no idea why they added that sweet jam on it nasty… plus I asked for it on the side but… yea, my drink was okay shanghai Pear, date enjoyed his drink frozen flower, the crab cake was good but was served with an overwhelming amount of tartar sauce it should be put on the side, The fries were good, and my friend enjoyed his steak. Large selection to pick from and I would recommend. I probably will visit again, if someone has birthday dinner there or for an occasion but not on my top 10 list.
First Time Dining here with my friend .. Greeted First by the friendly Smiling Host... we went to Bar since we didnt have a Reservation...we had the NY Strip added to a chopped salad and the Truffle.Mac and Cheese. We were looking for something light since we were gonna wait to go somewhere else.. but Houston-Bartender greeted us at the Bar was polite well versed in knowledge On the menu.. it was My friends Birthday and he made it delightful. Gentleman on the Piano played Happy Birthday.. We had a good time and I over tipped on Gratuity..which made me even more happy to do so. Great decor.great food great service we definately will be back!!
I've been to this location several times and I can't say that I've had a five-star experience anytime I've gone unfortunately. I keep giving it a try because of the location. I did enjoy the live music. This time I got the New York strip steak and it was very underwhelming. It was not really seasoned well even though I added the garlic butter to the steak. I asked for it to be cooked medium well and it was probably more on the well side.. very chewy. The mashed potatoes were whipped fine but didn't seem like there was any seasoning or butter in those either. I did enjoy the appetizer fried okra and the dipping sauce was tasty. The Blackberry mule drink that I had was pretty good as well. Our server was cool. Overall a good experience. I've just never been blown away by any of the food dishes I've tried. Perhaps it's just me!
