Description

McDonald's Fine Furniture started in 1986 right here in Lynnwood. It was a small mom & pop operation, occupying a very minimal footprint of just 4600 sq. ft. Slowly but steadily over the years, McDonald's Furniture has grown in both size and operation. Now commencing its third decade of business with the help of the family's second generation, McDonald's Furniture continues to operate under its inherent core values: providing high quality home furnishings at fair prices.

There are many different stores from which you can purchase your furniture here in Snohomish County. One of McDonald's Furniture's preeminent strengths is its ability to deliver very expediently. When you peruse our showroom, you'll notice that we stock most of what we showcase right in our warehouse, which is conveniently located next door to our showroom. If you find what you love, you can back your truck up to door number two and have us load it up for you, or in most cases, we can deliver that very same day.

BEWARE! I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing at this store. Our furniture quality is horrible. We've had our couch set for seven months and have had five service calls, resulting in several follow ups, for them to come fix it! This means time off of work to sit and wait. The first service call was a couple months after we had it for a squeaking recliner. Then, shortly after it was fixed, it broke. We waited over a month for it to be fixed. Then, the "100% genuine leather" started to peel in multiple places. They "fixed" these areas to only have them start peeling again. The customer service and management at McDonald's are horrible. They do not want to take care of their customers. They do not stand behind their products either. They sent their in house technicans to check the peeling again on the couch set on Monday. It's Thursday and I still have not heard a word. I called today and the manager "was with a customer". I left a message. Nothing. This has been a very disappointing experience to say the least. I hope this gets resolved soon. Take your business elsewhere.
We bought two recliner which were alike but one had a defective back. I worked with them in a calm manner, just like one would like to be treated. I am exchanging the back for another one which matches the recliner. I couldn't get the back off so knew there must be something that was holding it on. They were very helpful in showing me what I needed to do and so I am going to trade it this afternoon. I am happy with my experience.
We had very little time to furnish an entire house, and thanks to McDonald's wide variety and reasonable prices, were able to purchase most of what we needed in one day. Ricky was very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. The delivery was done the next day, furniture was put together carefully - the delivery guys were great to work with. We have returned several times to furnish our daughter's 1st apartment and pick up a few other items needed in multiple homes. Highly recommend!
Great experience when buying furniture for our new house. My boyfriend hates shopping, but somehow the man we were working with was able to make him comfortable enough laugh even! and find some great pieces for his man den. Delivery was great also, the door was just a smidge small for getting the sectional in, but they were able to carefully work everything in by removing the door and the couch feet. They were so nice and helpful and didn't get frustrated.
I had a bad experience purchasing a reclining sofa here, and it's not one single issue, but multiple problems. First, they did not show up within the promised delivery window, but more than 2 hours after that that means we needed to wait for them for over 4 hours!. Then, they delivered something already unwrapped so that we are not sure if it was really brand new in the box or it was a display, or something other customer returned. Then came the fun part. When they setup the sofa, one side of the sofa was significantly softer than the other. Before sitting on the sofa, the delivery guy told their manager over the phone that both sides had the same firmness how did you know before you actually sit on it?. Then, with our request, he quickly sat on it and again said "same" again, even when my 9-year old kid could feel the difference. Were they trying to say that our kid was lying or what? They then offered us to keep it and they will send a technician to check the issue. When buying an expensive, brand new product, we did not expect something that was not perfect at the beginning. The product might be defective or a returned item since it's unwrapped. We couldn't accept the fact that we would need a warranty service even before we use it. They finally agreed to take the sofa back, but they said they won't refund the delivery cost. I'm not sure why we have to pay for something that it's not our fault. Also, the refund for cost minus delivery will come in 10 days, not right away. With this kind of customer service, I worry that they will delay the refund again. It's been 6 days since that incident, and we have not see any refund yet. I will update here if the refund come in 10 days.
I had the worst experience with them just earlier this month. I went in with my fiancé to buy a new dresser. We actually had a great experience with the salesman Jay but that was about it. The dresser was one we saw in their back room that we were told was only missing a mirror and that was why it was discounted and had no tax. We paid for it and I helped the guy load it into my suv. I should have known something was wrong when the dresser was wrapped in plastic, I just thought their guy was really quick. When we got it home and unloaded it I saw there was a crack in one of the slats between the drawers which wasn't on the one I inspected at the store. I went to the store the next day to exchange it and was told there was no manager at the time. I called the next day and spoke to an Elaine who proceeded to yell at me and tell me I was wrong and that it was all like that when I inspected it. I told her no and that I was bringing it back for a refund. After a few minutes of yelling I hung up. The next day I brought it back and again Elaine accused me of lying yet agreed to refund my money. She then brought out a receipt for me stating on 10/07/14 that they are refunding my money and should be back in my account in 7-10 business days. Well surprise surprise by 10/23/14 the money was not by in my account. I drove down to their store yet again to talk to a manager, who wasn't there. I left my info for someone to contact me the next day with the progress of the refund. I got a call around 3:45pm on 10/24/14 by another rather rude lady informing me that the refund was issued, but not on 10/07/14 two weeks prior when they said they would but on 10/24/14 the day after I went in to complain. I'm sure if I hadn't gone in to complain that my money would never have been returned to me and they wouldn't have cared. I do not believe that they are actually refunding my money so as of now I contacted my bank and am filing a fraud case against them. I will never return to this store. I will discourage everyone I know not to go. Also I hope that the horrible management gets what's coming to them and this place is closed down. They are a bunch of lying thief's who need to be put behind bars.
Never EVER EVER buy furniture from this place. They are all lairs and scam you into thinking your getting a good deal. My husband and I went in there and purchased a sectional with recliner. Not even after 2 months, the couch started falling apart. All the seams began to unravel, and tear. The recliner squeaks like its 100 years old already. The manager woman was a cheap lair, and made us believe that she would make sure we were satisfied and that she would replace out sofa and recliner with in a reasonable time period. She never answered our calls after that conversation. I talked to a woman named Madelyn after that, and she tried to work with the insurance company that the warranty was under. which we paid EXTRA for. But the company would not do a thing for us. Bottom line, its all bull crap with them. They lie, scam, and cheated us out of $2,000. I warn you all to never go there. You are waisting your time, and money.
My husband and I purchased a table and chair set from McDonald's Fine Furniture in Lynnwood. The last table set we purchased was 24 years ago. We were a little hesitant purchasing through this company after reading some reveiws and were pleasantly surprised on the customer service we received. The staff salesman, Shane, was so knowledgeable about the manufacturer of the table. He showed us exactly what we would be getting and had a tape measure available for us to use to decide if the peice would actually fit in our specific area. Shane told us exactly how many of the particular pieces needed were in stock and placed a note in the computer for us that we would only accept new, out of the warehouse quality items. He also told us the exact date we would receive our delivered order and that the items would be assembled at the warehouse before delivered to our house and that the delivery person would call 1/2 hour prior to arrival. We were so surprised that all of it actually happened as we were told and more surprised on how efficient and professional the delivery crew was. We are 100% satisfied with our purchase, absolutely love the table and chairs and there is not one scratch on our furniture. It is beautiful! Thank you McDonald's Fine Furniture staff for making this dream happen.
Long story short: disrespectful and inartful negotiators. Short story long: Today was the second time my husband and I have visited this furniture store. We were looking for a dining room set today. Last visit, we were looking for a couch but weren't quite ready to buy. This time around we wanted to work with the same salesperson, Jay, who I see others have praised here despite the overall dissatisfaction with the business. Yes, Jay is the only salesperson that doesn't make you feel like you're an antelope being stalked in the wild by a ravenous lion. I won't mention the names of the awful salespeople because I'm not a horrible person but I will detail their many failed attempts at getting me to spend cash. Yes, I had cash to pay for the dining room set and they let me walk out the door. So I mentioned we wanted to work with Jay but no... unfortunately the way things work here is that the first salesperson to lay eyes on you claims your soul. Despite my attempts to get Jay to help me, he politely declined and pointed me towards the man who claimed my soul. I could tell he was bound to the strange rules of McDonald's and I reluctantly turned to the man who I saw smoking right outside the front doors of the business as I pulled up. This is also the same man who follows you around the store and pretends he's not looking at you but is horrible at that game so it just comes off creepy. Like, they might as well strap each customer with an ankle monitor so they'll be alerted if you start walking in the direction of the exit. Anyway... I was forced to work with this other salesperson who, upon my asking if he could get the price of the set down to $1,100 which was only $180 less than the asking price and the price I'd been quoted by a friend who had the same set he let out an exasperated sigh and said he'll ask. Now, as someone who has worked in sales and knows how the dance goes I expected him to either come back and say no, to which I would then press again, or come back with a counter offer. Instead, he escorted me over to a woman standing at a computer. She never turned around to introduce herself or ask my name. She only asked what the name of my friend was so that she could look her up and see what price she actually paid - as if to call me out as a liar. And liar I was! She gleefully pointed out that my friend actually paid $10 MORE than the price they were asking me to pay. I said the point wasn't to pay what my friend paid but to pay what I came in expecting the price to be - $1,100. If my friend was wrong in her estimation then that was unfortunate, but in the game of negotiation there is give and take. She said they have the BEST prices here and that I wouldn't find it any cheaper anywhere else, but that I was welcome to try. It was argumentative and, as I said, inartful. GAME. ON. As I walked out of the store, Jay caught me and quietly offered that the price may go down around Thanksgiving, but I said I'm pretty sure the woman was unwilling to budge and plus, based on the way I was treated, it was unlikely I'd be back. Sorry Jay... you should really take your talents elsewhere. Here's the clincher people - within 30 minutes of leaving that store I had found not one but two locations where I could buy that identical set for $1,100 or less. Within an hour of leaving the store I had handed my money over to another store. It was so easy I almost started searching for an even better deal but no, I said I wanted to spend $1,100 at the most and so I did. It was that freaking easy. It's been almost four hours since I left McDonald's sales floor and I'm still seething. I'm seething over how I was treated and how unprofessional most of the staff was at this local business. I'm disappointed that even if they couldn't lower the price for me... they still felt the need to treat me and my husband like garbage. If you like being treated like you owe a business something when you walk in the door - go have fun at McDonald's. But it took me little to no effort to find better customer services and prices elsewhere.
This is my go-to furniture store when I am furniture hunting. Over the years I have been systematically replacing my furniture. Every time I have visited the many furniture stores in Lynnwood, I always end up buying here. The furniture is always changing... A good thing. The prices are good. Every time I stop by, I say "Hi" to Phillip. He remembers my name and is always helpful. Sometimes I stop by to get ideas... and say "Hi" to Phillip!
