Went on May 28, 2023 and picked strawberries. It’s six dollars per pint. Super fun place for the kids. They had fun. We also pick apples, pumpkins, when in season. It’s a great activity for the family. We go several times a year. Super cute and my boy loves the park. I recommend you give it a try. Yes we drink the hard cider. It’s more for the tradition :
Fun local experience! We picked apples and peaches. Staff are really nice. They have a variety of cider, salsa, cheese and other items for purchase. Cash and credit card accepted. Go early for pumpkins. We just finished strawberry picking and the kids LOVED IT!
We had an amazing time picking strawberries in the mud. Plenty of fruit! Garrett was extremely friendly and had some amazing cider on tap. Be sure to check out this farm. Family friendly, live music on weekends.
We went strawberry picking and got many big ripe ones! They were sweet and so good. It was a great experience and the owners are so kind and friendly! We bought strawberries, home made strawberry coffee cake, dill cheddar cheese and jalapeno cheese snack sticks. Their jams, salsa, and honey are great too!
We have been here twice now, once to pick apples and once to pick peaches and both times were a blast! Every person we interacted with was so kind and my boys loved pulling the wagon and searching for the perfect pick. We enjoyed a picnic lunch at a shaded picnic table right next to the play area complete with what my 4 year old has deemed, "the fastest slide in the world" . I was very impressed by the reasonable prices and I can't wait to bring the kiddos back in September!!
Plenty of peaches to pick! The staff were very friendly and willing to help us out as soon as we arrived. They sent us on our way to the D route to pick some peaches. There is a $2.50 entrance fee per person that is charged when you checkout your fruit.
This sweet orchard is a delight for the whole family. My family and I have come for many years to pick peaches, pumpkins, and strawberries. Tom is so warm and gracious, making the already enjoyable experience into a memorable time. There is activities for all seasons, and a playset for the little ones. This is a blast, worth the short drive from Wichita!
Authentic and spacious location 10 minutes southwest of Andover and 15 minutes from east Wichita. Walk over the bridge with your cart and bring back large off the vine pumpkins and pick seasonal apples directly from the trees! Prices higher than store, but the cider and band, playground and goats make the experience for kids a true farm world like the good old days.
I have lived in the Wichita area for about 10 years and have been on the hunt for a good apple orchard to go to and pick apples. I grew up in the northeast and it was one of my favorite fall activities! I finally stumbled upon Meadowlark Farm on Instagram and I’m so happy I did! Their apples are delicious, and so is the hard cider! The apple cider donut was the cherry on top of the whole experience. I will be back for sure.
We went yesterday and there are no more pumpkins or apples in the fields. Not sure if it was because so many people came and picked or just not a great crop year. It was still a really good time though, we were to walk around and enjoy the property and have a glass of cider. The couple running the place is very nice. Definitely we'll try again earlier in the season.
