It is no secret to us that the best health care in the region is delivered here at University Hospital.
We believe there is no better way for our philanthropic efforts to be demonstrated than to partner to improve services of the hospital; raise and expend funds for capital improvements; educational programs and medical or hospital related research; and provide financial assistance for the improvement of health, safety and general welfare of the hospital and thus the community.
Recently, The Waiting Room Project demonstrated our commitment to the mission of University Hospital by partnering to improve facilities. Proceeds from last year’s event were used to enhance and improve the waiting areas throughout University Hospital. Research supports that creating and promoting patient-centered, family-focused waiting areas improve patient outcomes and overall patient satisfaction with the hospital experience. As a medical staff, we proudly endeavor to continue this type of support to the hospital and show our patients and their families we care.
Past donors include grateful patients, individuals, families, corporations and foundations who wish to see the success and improvement of the hospital that serves so many in the Greater Newark area. Your financial support of this event will make a difference to those who need it most.
