My family just had a hip surgery. At 10 pm. Not sure a 85 year old lady should check out with in 36 hours after. But the hospital tell us. She is going home. That’s lots concern .
I was here in the psych ward for almost a week. The staff was awesome, all the nurses were great! Miss Gravy fries, and Miss plain quesadilla in intake were great! Joy, one of the counselors, led some great group therapy sessions, turned me around 189 degrees from when I checked in. 10/10 would recommend!
First visit was 3 years ago and it was horrible. Fast forward today 5/18/2023, things seems to have changed alot for the better..better communication, prompt attention / care, cleaner environment and well staffed. Satisfactory service overall from my team PA-C Jeanna and nurse Ahtiana.
The receptionist and the nurse were so cooperative and polite when I mentioned I was assaulted and really don’t feel good, they let me in immediately, then I was left in the emergency room for an hour and half without any one checking up on me or do normal work, like blood pressure and so on until I screamed as my head was blowing off of headache, The nurses named Christine was so rude and seemed just doesn’t like me all the way which is fine, but it’s not fine to be rude, she kept giving me that “disgusting” look all the time, yes I was assaulted and looked bad which is normal, but I really don’t understand her disgusting behavior, however, next day when I went back with full suit driving my car, she seemed changed her behavior a “little” but the damage was already done. This is one of the worst experiences of mine in ER, hence, I’ll never visit that city again or hospital. Wish you all good health and that you don’t experience what I just did.
Danielle, Clinical Nurse 2 on Labor & Delivery is incompetence at its best. My client wanted her placenta, instead of Danielle seeking guidance on the hospitals process, she told my client that she can’t keep her placenta because she didn’t tell her that she wanted it upon admission. The real truth was she was unaware of how to initiate the process but instead of sharing she was unaware she lied to my client and caused a great amount of anxiety. She is also not midwife or doula friendly. Very passive aggressive with my client because she asked questions about her care that ultimately should have been shared with the patient after delivery. I had to come to the hospital to help her advocate. Either Danielle was unhappy about all the paperwork she has to do because my clients birth swiftly or this is just her normal routine. But as an OB Surgical Tech, I’ve never encountered such unprofessional, especially when we claim to be apart of the patient birth team.
My wife took our 1 yr old son into the ER last Sunday at 445pm. Triaged and waited for 8+ hrs before my wife had had enough and left. 8 hrs!!! Went to urgent care the next morning and was treated in two hours. The repeated answer she got when asking how much longer was he’s not a priority. Oh, and the contact form they recommend you fill out, I did it Sunday and have yet to hear anything from them. Will never go back.
My name is BOBBI PITCOCK I don’t know why my sons name popped up. Anyhow that doesn’t change my opinion or review of my stay at harbor hospital. My first comment is towards the e.d dept. it wasn’t that bad my dr called so I didn’t wait long to be seen, doctors and nurses equally were very kind in that dept. I got admitted on the 4th floor and the staff was AMAZING the nurses kept me well informed of my test results they were patient and answered all my questions. The doctors well for the most part they were pretty dry and didn’t hestitate to tell you the truth about your diagnosis. The one dept that stood out believe it or not was nutrition dept. A worker named Charnet not sure if her last name but dam she was nice and so accommodating. She waited for me to place my order bedside due to a mix up. Then she served me my food. The other nutrition worker called to confirm my order. I know this is minor to some but it’s huge to me and she deserved to be recognized for making my day so much better. Thankyou Ms. Charnet for your kindness and patience and going above and beyond to meet my needs today!!!
The care my dad is receiving exceeded l of my expectations. The staff were friendly and informative, and what above and beyond. I can't recommend this hospital more. 10 stars
My family and I had a wonderful stay at The Ocean Club hospital. The property is so gorgeous and laid out in a way that allows you to walk through many lush, tropical areas feeling like you are secluded in the best way. Their landscaping is so manicured, set against a spectacular ocean view. The beach can't be beat with its clear water and soft sand. The restaurant overlooking the shore is stunning, and the infinity pool is perfect for spending the day. The staff is absolutely wonderful, warm and friendly. Everyone was accommodating and a pleasure. There is no better place to stay while in Baltimore.
I have had to do ER here maybe 3X and the wait and staff were not bad @ all as far as ER's go; and I have experienced some AWFUL ER's. Most important was treated with care, respect, and dignity. I have been a patient here Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension for over 6 yrs now. I live about 8 min away. My PCP/CRNP is decent; no problems with her. The lady who takes blood is Awesome. Certain doctors not so much as you really aren't heard as a patient; instead just have multiple meds thrown @ you and the fact that you are communicating to them that these meds are severely affecting your quality of Life VERY BADLY is met with a Dismissive, Invalidating, Condescending attitude. I mean, I don't want to have a cardiovascular event BUT if I can barely function LIVE WORK on what you're giving me, miserable, AND ITS NOT EVEN WORKING DOES IT EVEN MATTER??? And I'm OK with some side effects BUT when the side effects are endangering your other organs and body as a whole not to mention Jeopardizing your ability to work and making you feel like you're 100 yrs old: NO. Hospital is always clean when I'm there. There are 1 or 2 staff answering phones for appts, etc. who need training on how to be MORE FRIENDLY & PROFESSIONAL to people calling; they just sound overworked & fed up which they prob are. I'm noticing staff having even more of an increased workload having to run from patient to patient, which I guess has to do with staffing shortages happening everywhere along with supervisors + admin pushing for increased metrics. Not THE Best clinic/hospital but FAR from the Worst. And there actually are SOME ok staff here who DO care.
