The best grocery store in the area, selection like no other, stopped, great customer service, clean, that is pricey because places around it and also has the rewards system. Highly recommended
Was there at 1:30 on Wednesday it was not busy at all. His store was well stocked. Grocery items were out front and well faced. General merchandise isles were clean and clear. However the discounted NCAA apparel was marked by one get one 50% and did not ring up that way. Had someone come over and correct the items for me and she was pleasant to do so
It's rare I shop Meijer due to none conveniently located in terms of my house but, this location at 3822 Colonel Glenn Highway, Fairborn, Ohio is between my work and my wife's which is when I stop of necessary traveling to her. I doubt even those occasions will occur now due to a single employee who was there 11/9/2022 at 11:45pm when I checked out through self scan. As I'm sure many shoppers have done, I took a cart on my way in, from in the parking lot actually, because I wasn't exactly how much I was buying. In the end, I had maybe 5 items total and after checkout, 3 bags that I certainly didn't need the cart to take to my car. I saw another 2 carts which were left against the wall just outside the self checkout area and, not needing the one I had, pushed it into the other 2 and ultimately pushed all 3 carts together figuring it would make it easier for the cart person to corral all to their ultimate "home" and they also wouldn't have to go out in the cold for those 3 carts at least. Apparently the male employee at the self checkout had other thoughts and decided it appropriate to have a smart mouth in that moment stating, "That's not where those go." MY guess, it's not HIS job to "corral" the carts from outside so, why would he care if someone was trying to be kind to the individuals who do have that job. He instead chose to take the ONE cart I had left, leaving the other 2, and make a production out of immediately taking my one cart, I brought in from outside to begin with, to the final cart area about 20 yards from where I left it, inside. This is petty, childish, and pathetic for anyone to behave in such a ridiculous manner under ANY circumstances but, as an employee, even worse. I thought to call the store or email Corporate but, what does that do really? They listen, give lip service about something they won't and never intended to do so, here is this since Google Maps asked me to post my review. Now any curious customer or potential customers can read and choose whether these are the type of employees you want to keep employed by shopping and spending your money here. I won't go back. I hadn't been in a Meijer in years and that scenario certainly doesn't compel me to return. Hope this helps someone, maybe even that employee may see this and, with that know, someday, you will catch someone on a bad day or someone who just doesn't care anymore and they will be the one who takes care of your smart mouth for you!
The employees at the customer service desk were extremely rude and unhelpful. We purchased an infant sweater a couple months ago, but the employees forgot to remove the security tag. We brought it in today to get the security tag removed, but we did not keep the receipt because we did not realize the security tag was still on until later. The employees at the service desk said they could look it up via our card, but they were unable to find the order. This makes no sense, because we only have 3 cards that possibly could have been used and they could not find the order, so there must be a flaw within the system. They refused to remove the security tag, and were extremely rude throughout the process. We've shopped at this location every week for five years, and we hoped that the employees would recognize us and have some grace for the situation. I understand their policy is that we must have our receipt, but we were not trying to return or get our money back, we just needed them to use the tool to remove the tag and they refused. I would have been understanding if they were not so rude about it. If anyone has any advice on how to remove a security tag yourself, please let me know
Though it's often better than Kroger, this Meijer has been disappointing lately. Poor customer service was given a hard time about a simple return for less than $20, when I spend hundreds here regularly, long lines, no help in sight, etc. Was here on Saturday after Thanksgiving and they were taking the huge sale signs down at 3pm. When I asked how customers will know what's on sale, It was suggested to me to use the multiple price check locations throughout the store for all the merchandise I'm interested in.
I rarely shop at this Meijer store, and now I remember why I travel the extra mile to shop at different chains. The store is not very organized, and the workers are not eager to help. My teenage daughter found a sweater she wanted as a gift for Christmas. It was on the pink sticker sale rack. When we went to check out, the item did not ring up, and the cashier typed in the FULL $34.00 price and refused to look into the sale. When was the last time you paid full price for a clothing item at a Meijer? The entire clothing section was at least 40% off for Black Friday sales. My only option was to go to customer service and stand in the long line or tell my daughter she couldn't get it as a gift. I don't suggest shopping here for the holidays because the hassle of getting the correct price isn't worth the time.
I just started using the pharmacy here. Over the last two years pharmacies have been a literal nightmare. I started going here due to an insurance change and their service has been phenomenal. Ten times better than everywhere ive been over the last 2 years. They just fill it up when the doctor calls it in. Kroger wouldnt fill it until i came in and asked them to fill it, which in turn screwed up my insurance and how/when scripts could be filled
It's Meijer: The same quality products as everywhere else, just at a higher price. The store is clean and well kept, although the lines to check out are normally long, as the mother of 4 ahead of you has two carts of groceries to scan at the self checkout. Tesla Supercharger coming soon in the western part of the parking lot, near DiBella's and Chipotle.
Being from Texas , never heard of Meijer! Well Texas let me tell you what !! WE ARE MISSING OUT! This is the BEST STORE EVER!! Just take all you favorite stores and put them in one big store !! LOVE THIS PLACE
Quite a few items couldn't be found. Aisles full with people, carts and restock plates made getting around slow. They did have enough cashiers to manage the demand and that was great.
