Dr Shala is a wonderful and compassionate doctor. Cannot recommend him highly enough. He has taken the best care of my mom and we are forever grateful !
I visited this facility a few times and I was not at happy with the waiting time. Waited more than two hours one day and at least 60 mins the other days regardless of when I arrived for my appointment and what time was my appointment. You got to wait out for hours and go in, get checked in by nurse, then again wait in the patient room for at least 30 to 60 mins. Every time I waited this long, I was terrified and angry that they don’t respect other’s time. But when I saw doctor Shala, my anger was melted. He is so good that you feel it was worth the wait. I understood that everybody wants to have an appointment with him, so he is doing his best to accommodate everyone’s request. Of course, he has only 24 hours in his day and if everyone wants his time, he can only make people wait, meet and treat them. Doctor is amazing and yes, wait time is unreasonable hence giving four stars. Front office staff can be better as they don’t seem very friendly, they just do their job. They don’t know how long is the wait and they say you got to wait.
Dr. Shala is Excellent. The staff, medical records department , an PA are less than average. There has been a big decline in service over the last year.
Dr. Shala is a kind, supportive and empathetic doctor, which goes a long way in my book. The wait time in his office can be a little frustating at times, but I suspect it is because he's good at what he does and a lot of folks want to see him. My mom had been his patient for a number of years. We are grateful for his support.
Dr. Shala is a caring doctor with a tremendous amount of substance and gravitas. He gives you straight answers while considering all aspects of the patient care. His PA and NP’s are equally good. Would recommend him to anyone seeking excellent cardiac care.
I've entrusted the care of my heart to Dr. Bashar Shala & Memphis Cardiovascular Center & Staff and I'm already pleased with the service & great customer service that I've receive even at my 1st. I'm trusting God to lead Dr. Shala & his staff to a better heart health. They're the BEST!!! If you have any heart issues no matter how great or small Memphis Cardiovascular Center is the place to be. You won't be disappointed! They're customer service is TOP rated! Dr. Bashar is very professional and down to earth I’d give him 100 stars if I can. There is a little longer wait due to so many clients coming to see Dr. Bashar but the wait is very well worth the professional medical care you will definitely get here.
Appointment was at 3 pm. Followed instructions and showed up 30 minutes early. Waiting room was packed. Did not get called back until 90 minutes after my appointment time. That was only vitals and a refresh of history. This office might give great care but they don’t run on time.
Came in with my grandmother and I noticed that older people were coming in/out that had walkers/canes.... A good amount of these people the ones without help were struggling to open the door and get through the door with their walkers/canes. I sat closer to the door so that I could open the door for people that were struggling. I'm only mentioning this because I think it's awkward that staff were watching people struggle and not moving to help them. I'm not sure if a handicap button can be added or maybe there is one already added and it wasn't working or maybe a handicap button was there and it wasn't visible. Maybe it was just an off day and staff are usually more helpful.... This is based on me waiting in the waiting area for about 3 hours.
DR Shala and his staff are life savers !!!!! excellent customer service, takes time to insure you understand everything and all of your questions are answered.
