MVA is a competitive volleyball club in the Midsouth area that offers consistent and high quality training in an intense, competitive, and disciplined atmosphere from experienced former collegiate players and collegiate coach's. We are located in Olive Branch, MS conviently located for players that live in the Collierville, Germantown, and Desoto county area.

MVA's Director and Head instructor In-Sik Hwang is the Head Volleyball Coach at CBU where he is marked as the winningest volleyball Coach in CBU history and named Coach of the Year for 2010 and 2012. Hwang has led his CBU team to 2 NCAA Tournament appearances and placing in the top 32 teams for DII. Coach Hwang and his Master Coach's, Bob Lewis and Lialah Putman-Harper, will personally over see and instruct MVA's practices thus preparing all of MVA's players to play at the collegiate level.

Horrible club experience. Be weary going in. Spent a lot of money with travel only for my daughter to not get any playing time because another player was crying that my daughter was playing more sets than her. After multiple complaints to the coach, my daughter was removed from the team. Instead of having a meeting which was promised. I tried to wait it out to see if it would get better but it didn’t. I should have cut my ties early with this team.
My daughter has been doing one on one lessons with Coach April Jauregui and she is amazing. She is very patient, helpful and very encouraging with my daughter who is a beginner. Her teaching has made my daughter become better with more work. I hope to get her more involved with this association when given the chance. Thank you Coach April.
Great experience over the last few years with MVA. They have developed my daughter into a much better competitor and athlete. The owners and all the staff work well with the players of all ages and know how to bring out the best in the athletes. Also just read the city who owns the building will be adding additional parking to the venue due to the tremendous growth of participation at tournaments at the venue under MVA's leadership. Thank you Southaven leadership!
Large facility with 12 courts. I know there are much bigger but always nice to play close to home.
Concessions sre limited, bathrooms could use actual paper towels and not those wimpy hairdryers on the walls. Clean, better organized inside on the event side, than last year. Parking is an issue at any large event. But here it seems to be encouraged to park wherever you can fit, including on the grass. Do Not Block the police driveway! Saw someone get towed. Volleyball club seems to be better ran than the desoto club was. Way more competitive!
MVA is a smaller club but really starting to shine. Strong on fundamentals, they really care that you're player does things right. The coaches are dedicated and have strong resumes. I found them to much more honest about a player's ability than some of the other clubs where a checkbook or relationships rule the day...and not your child's talent and effort.
I have had 3 daughters play at MVA and the level of coaching is great. Club director is a college coach and most of the coaches are area high school coaches, very experienced coaches or past college level players. That’s one big draw to MVA is the coaching and experience w volleyball. We could not be happier w how well the organization is run! Look forward to being back this year!
Parking is horrible. Southaven needs to do something. More spaces or directing traffic.
We had a great time at the tournament, very busy town, lots of traffic...
My daughter plays volleyball here. She seems to like it!
