Today was a 5* day at the Rhinelander store. Kirk and Becky? were fantastic at helping put our 3 different costumer orders together. As a contractor, I really appreciate that kind of assistance. For a change, we got help from one of the yard team with loading drywall..... normally, we have to find a yard member for assistance, today, he found us and made life easier with the forklift - I wish I'd caught his name.
Though they had what we needed for our pick up order, more guidance and direction would have been nice. Even while asking, it was a pointed finger and an "over there." Two hours later, we were leaving...ugh
Good store but I received terrible customer service today, or barely any service at all. Jeanne P and two other older men in the Plumbing section on 5/16/23 were extremely rude. I stood at the service desk waiting for help for a while and they all completely ignored me. Acted like I wasn’t standing there. They also saw me looking around for a while and never asked if I needed help either. I witnessed ANOTHER customer start asking Jeanne a question and she walked right past him and he didn’t even get to finish his question. So upsetting.
We shop at Menards often. Recently buying an upright freezer. They were helpful and loaded it up for us. We usually have no problem finding help if we need it and the employees seem happy to help.
Huge store it's usually not busy compared to other menards I've been to. Love that it's easy to get in and out of parking lot. One associate was worthless and couldn't be bothered when we inquired about a product. But the next 2 were very helpful and we found what we were looking for. They have some great deals. Excited to go back again.
Beware of CustomCraft Countertops through Menards. If you look at the Midwest Manufacturing reviews, they currently have an average rating of 1.8 and every review is a frustrated customer who can't get a resolution to the broken/poorly made product they received. You have to write letters to complain to menards they won't accept phone/email and then they tell you it's not their problem, contact MM. Then MM says there's nothing they can do. Neither company stands behind their products.
Jason at the front desk was rude when he stated most people have friends with trucks. The truck rental went well otherwise.
I love this place. Always stocked shelves, people working there are always friendly and helpful. If you can't find it they can order it and have multiple delivery methods. There's a reason why I always go here first.
Shout out to Patti in electrical/light fixtures for great customer service! Menards in general has noticeably improved its customer service over the past year which has made it a much better place to shop, etc., and competitively better than Home Depot. Keep it up!
Oh my goodness! With all the projects we have, we spend so much at Menards that I should have my paycheck direct deposited to them! Their selection and prices are good... Even on food items we occasionally purchase as we make our way through the store. Two thumbs up to Menards and glad that they're in Rhinelander where it's convenient to visit.
