We are a non-profit community-based market sponsored by the local LIONS Club. Our vendors pay a small stall fee and we pay our Market Manager for a few hours per week. The rest all goes to charities (mainly local) – but the primary purpose of the Market is not to make money – it is to contribute to the Quality of Life in our community.
Our Farmers represent an eclectic collection – both Certified Organic and Other – but all are passionate about their calling and take great pride in their produce. Most of our vendors have been with us since our founding over 20 years ago or joined us soon thereafter. Some of the stalls are today are even staffed by second generation offspring of people who were at our founding.
We operate year round, taking time-off only one or two weekends per year around Christmas and New Year. Our selection of produce is of course not as wide in the winter months, but there is nevertheless a surprising variety even in the shortest days of the year.
