Great hidden gem. Beautiful clean rooms. Staff are very polite and professional. Serve a great breakfast. Less than 2 miles from Stanford Hospital. Highly recommended! Rooms: Clean and comfortable Safety: Vary secure location close to high school. Food & drinks: Full Bar service Great coffee bar Noteworthy details: Very quiet so close to high school. Very safe area with little foot traffic. State of the arts technology . Vary convenient to Stanford Hospital, University, and shopping.
The main reason to love the Park James are the good people here making sure that you are happy with everything. I have completely fallen for the Alejandra in the cafe. Everything is so well done, thought through, beautiful, right down to the perfect cappuccino mugs. The decor and esthetics are great. I’m tempted to live here in some way. I never get this way, I always want to leave, but not here. I want to stay.
Our recent stay in the Park James Hotel was a fantastic experience. We were in the midst of moving and though our extended stay was long, the staff here made it feel like a second home! The Park James community, from the cleaning staff to Tony at the Front office, Armando behind the bar, and up to the general manager, Lyle; all the staff were exceedingly friendly, professional and accommodating. I highly recommend the Park James Hotel for a delightful visit, long or short, at a great establishment.
Service was impeccable! Everyone I met went above and beyond. Special thanks to Tony as he made sure our stay was wonderful and we didn’t need anything. Lyle, The general manager followed up with us several times and was very gracious. Rooms were clean and immaculate in every way possible! It had everything that we needed We love this hotel!
We had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding at Park James. Tania helped us plan the perfect event, she even recommended vendors to us and helped us figure out the table clothes and center pieces. She was always very responsive and attentive to any thing we needed. The food was amazing, our guests talked about it for weeks and all want to go back to have dinner at the restaurant. All of the service staff was friendly and always checked if we needed anything. They also accommodated our guests with special food requests.
I absolutely loved every minute of my stay at Park James. The hotel itself is stunning - it has a cool and modern vibe that's approachable and comfortable at the same time, and the attention to detail is impeccable. The service is absolutely unmatched as well. Lyle, the general manager was super on top of things and went out of his way to ensure that everything was perfect. I also highly recommend eating at their restaurant, Oak + Violet. The food and the service there were incredible, and you can't beat the convenience of simply going downstairs for dinner! Location wise, it's super walkable to lots of cute shopping and dining. Also love that they are pet friendly!! Can't say enough great things about this place.
This hotel was great! Attended an event here and the service was phenomenal. Staff was attentive, valet was quick and easy, food was great and everything felt well managed. I’ll definitely be back.Rooms: 5/5
Everything about my recent stay was fabulous from start to finish. The staff at Park James Menlo Park were fantastic, friendly, and always went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. The room and bath were beautiful, bedding was perfection, bath amenities including robes, and full sized toiletries were the perfect extra touch. One of my favorite amenities was the kettle and freshly-ground coffee that was provided in the room. It's a wonderful boutique hotel and my only wish was that we could have stayed longer!
Park James hotel is marvelous marvelous! If you’re looking for a little getaway for the weekend or visiting from out of town, Park James will take care of you! Everything from the service down to the drinks were amazing! And the staff works around the clock to provide whatever you need!Rooms: 5/5
Great experience, service was top notch The rooms were nice and clean and room service was spot on and kept every little detail in mind. The location is a bit unusual as it's right off a busy intersection/cross road. Note: Only Valet Parking $30 per night extra will be charged. Nearby activities: There is a full bar and restaurant downstairs
