If there’s one thing I love it’s a free fun activity! Some may not look at going to the library as an activity but for my child that’s exactly what it was. The Discovery Zone is exceptional! There wasn’t one area we spent the most time in. There’s a play house with space for 3-4 kids comfortably with lights that flicker amongst other pretend play goodies! There are touch screen games on another wall, with a good amount of selections. Blocks to build up whatever you can imagine. The air wall like the magic house has was a great spot to meet new friends. We read a book in a big comfy chair on the other side of the Discovery Zone, where all the children’s books are. The restroom is conveniently located inside the Discovery Zone versus having to go out into the extra quiet library. Just take a look if you don’t believe me . And did I saw it was FREE .
The new location is perfect. They did a fantastic job creating diverse areas for all types of people. The children's area is extremely well done and invites kids to play and read and gives families a wonderful and free option for hot or cold days. My kids love it. They also have great sections for adults as well to do any variety of work or reading. They have meeting rooms, study rooms, computer access, outdoor reading areas, a walking trail, and all things that you could want any Library. The new renovations we're extremely well-thought-out and extremely well done.
Self service here was very easy! I placed my book on hold online and was able to walk in and easily find my book on the holding shelves and check out. Seamless!
Newer library contains study rooms, computers and a really cool area for the kids.
There's an awesome kids area that my son love to play in
Beautiful library. Can't wait for the children's section to fully open back up. I give the library 5 stars due to wonderful staff and facility. Only caveat is that libraries aren't what they were when I was younger and odds of having a particular book in stock are rare. But ordering is easy and is quick to get in.
Great place, you can sit and relax if you want .plus the staff is wonderfully helpful when you are looking for something specific.
I love this library! The librarians really make it. During COVID they did so much to keep it accessible with the curbside bundles and kits. Always fast and nice. The online events via zoom have been great. I especially loved the one about Haiku. Thank you all for providing such an awesome public resource!
So cool! They found a way to make libraries fun! My daughter asks to go all the time and we love taking her. There are so many awesome activities and cozy places to read books. And it’s so clean. Definitely does not feel like a library.
Brand new library is all brand spanking new, clean, fresh, and BIG. This library has been on the wish list for many in this area for quite a long time. It was worth the wait! The ribbon cutting was on May 15, 2019. Wow. The children's area is especially nice and any child or grandchild would love the hands on things to do there. Their section is closed off from the main library so that they can be "kids" and we can be adults in our section. There is even an elevated walking path outdoors surrounding the parking lot. This new location has a vending machine area and one large meeting room. There are also several smaller rooms for groups of 2-3 as well as a closed off quiet area. The back outdoor patio has rocking chairs and a lovely arrangement of outdoor furniture for the enjoyment of the patrons. Oh, did I mention that they have books?
