If you are looking for a true doctor who is a real person Dr. Villaplana is as real as they come he truly cares about people and our well being I was blown away how he knew who I was without ever meeting me his practice is his passion so if your looking for a true doctor Dr. Villaplana is it. I have never in 60 yrs wrote a review that says a lot In itself. Thank you
After my last Iraq deployment I came home and self medicated. As did my brother. After he killed himself I decided to get clean. The VA had me going to Cleveland which was too far, but this place worked with them to let me come to Meridian which is closer. It's been great so far and haven't had any major issues or hangups. I've managed to stay clean and life is much better
They saved my life, personally. Im through MAT methadone& I also see their primary care doctor and their psychiatrist. My doctor is Krista. Shes a recovery alcoholic also. Highly recommend. She knows I hate waiting, lol so she told me whenever she sees my name she grabs me asap. Recommend you ask for krista.
Meridian is a great place! I've been to many treatment facility's in the past and this is the only one that truly listened to my concerns . Everything went really fast and smooth. You know your truly cared for at Meridian. They give you all the tools you'll need for your recovery and it's up to you use them. It teaches you accountability and helps you to appreciate recovery more. If your debating over going to Meridian, don't debate, just go!, You'll be happy you did! Thank you Meridian! You all are awesome!
Meridian has been a huge part of my recovery. My counselor Kristy is amazing. I have been clean 4yrs! I'm so grateful for this place and the people in it!
You definitely don't want to make this your long-term family doctor or anything of the sorts, I was in here quite a few times in the last year or two and it is connected to drug rehab unit on the other side of the building which uses these doctors that you will be seeing... The waiting room is full of crazed junkies yelling and jumping around like maniacs if you are skittish you do not want to be here... Choose another doctor it's that simple.... This is a methadone clinic / doctor's office..
This review is specifically toward Dr. Shah... do not recommend. He CONSTANTLY leaves you waiting for a good 45 mins to an hour, never remembers you and has you waiting all that time to talk to you for 5 mins. I literally get aggravated everytime I come in here. I can’t wait until I don’t have to see him again.
If you want help and you are serious and tierd of the way you are living then go to meridian!you will go to meetings get involved is key you have to want it!counclers are great you can choose a new one if you feel you just dont vibe with the first one.Also yes you got to follow rules which none of us liked to do but accountability is part of being clean and staying clean.Just remember you can do it and never give up they help find you work a health doctor and you can get a ride to and from if you have Medicaid they pay for you to get rides an go to meetings.i was so afraid ..but what do you got to lose??I think we have a list enough and it's time now .I pray everyone and anyone who reads this do not be afraid.The first step is to admit your powerless!!!!
My counselor Jenn. The BEST. SHE TRULY CARES. If u need help don't hesitate to ask. They are great.
So far my experience with nurse Amy has been amazing.
