The nurses here and cleaning staff were good. But the doctors promptness and the teams communication skills are terrible. No one hospital couldn't even give us an answer to when we would see a doctor or get tests done, and we spent days just laying in a room not even seeing a Doctor. Then we spoke to upper management just for them to tell us that, it was just part of healthcare and its so hard to even get into a hospital we should be thankful. There wouldn't be a need for hospital beds if they would get patients in and out when they needed care instead of dragging there feet!
The nurse was rude. There was a blind man that she didn’t want to help back to his room. The paramedics was rude and not caring or concerns about my well-being. I left and went got treated at a better hospital where they show patients compassion. The worst experience ever. I will never go to that hospital again. Wouldn’t take my sick dog there. Avoid if you are people of color.
Even though being in the hospital with a love one is not good BUT the staff here made us feel so welcoming!!! We just transitioned from St. Jude to adult care & my son & I didnt know exactly what to expect. We is on the 6th floor & from the Nurses, CNA's, kitchen staff, housekeeping, and the Doctors was absolutely amazing keep up the great work!!!
Sitting in the waiting room on hour 5. Broken collar bone. No help. Place is ridiculous underdeveloped. No proper care. No proper staff. Not a place anyone should choose if they can. Literally anywhere else is better. Now that it's 2023 my insurance do3snt even consider them in network. Such a scam This hospital is a scam and should be ashamed of operating like this. The staff can't even use complete sentences. Turns out they also just closed us put without being seen. Wait time jumped to 10 hours due to their neglect
During the time my brother was there some of the nurses I encountered was rude very unprofessional you could tell they was only there for a check! When he passed away they didn't even call me I found out when I called to check on him. DR Marsh stated he passed like a few minutes ago..it was 12:15pm when I talked to her yet his death certificate stated he passed at 10:30am...2 hours no notification if I could give this hospital a zero I would!
CAUTION: DO NOT GO HERE! This hospital is for people who doesn't have sense to go to another hospital... If you are black, you'll be treated like your health isn't important... They will treat your concerns as if you're just another number.. The room I was placed in hadn't been cleaned properly, it still had blood on the floor from the previous patient... This hospital is nasty.
You have to STAY on them. Some nursing staff is great some are not. Wish there was a quicker way to get to the North Tower from the parking lot.
I was there for 3 days with trauma. The entire Medical Staff was AWESOME. They all treated me with my concerns. The Doctors talked to me at my level. Great job and Great care!!
Avoid this hospital at all costs if you can. The wait time in the ER is absurd. Waiting for 27 hours is beyond unacceptable. Some of the staff are rude and have no compassion for sick people. Beautiful remodeling of the hospital. Now, if they would spend more money on being more time efficient with patients, it could be a better hospital. The lack of urgency by employees is just mind-boggling. Smh
I went to the ER 5/31/2022 and overall had a great experience. My injury felt like it was severe to me but everyone there made me feel reassured that I was going to be fine. Tim was the triage nurse I saw and his bedside was awesome and attentive. On the other side Audrey was my nurse and she was so nice and caring there was a nurse from nursing school too who was great but I can’t remember her name I saw doctor Patrick and he explained everything about my injury so I could understand and made me feel like I was his only patient. I hope I never have to go back to the ER but if I did I would want these doctors and nurses no questions asked.
