Delicious food and excellent service! Tonight was our first time dining at Mezzaluna II and our server, Katherine, was simply amazing! I had the cheese ravioli with meatballs and you can tell everything here is made in-house. We will absolutely be back!Food: 5/5
We had dinner here last night and it was enjoyable. The food was not bad. Portions were fair. The "best by" date on the beer bottle was way overdue, but it was consumed without complaint. The waitress was very cheerful and prompt.Food: 3/5
The server was great, very friendly and attentive. The food however was just bland, it had no flavor. I tried all 4 of our tables dishes and all of them were the same. I see great reviews, so maybe just an off night.Food: 1/5
Mezzaluna is an unassuming hidden gem in Statesville. The Owner/Chef along with his servers are friendly and appropriately attentive. They turn out dinners full of flavor and on point. The Salmon special as well as Shrimp Fra Diavlo was bursting with flavor. That said, here is the disconnect. The interior of the restaurant is not on par with the entrees they serve. The interior is dated with wood paneling and desperately needs to be refurbished, in order to deliver a complete dining experience. The table cloths were stained and could be seen through the glass placed on top. These are easy fixes and should not deter one from dining at Mezzaluna.
This was our first time eating there we got the crapiest waiter! He brought u stale bread and we had to get more. He tried to give us someone else’s salads after he already gave us ours! Set it on the table and we told he already gave us ours! He picked it up and gave it to the table behind us! He broke a table glass behind us and he slipped and fell. The girl waitereses has to help him clean up the broken table top! Food was cold and got VERY small portions for the money! We took one of the orders home which had a salad included at the restaurant but not in our to go order even though it was supposed to come with one. The menu said one price but we were charged $2 more per meal as they said the price went up! We were not told this till we were ready to pay! Worst restaurant EVER will not be going back and will friends and family know. We weee charged $27 and $26 for a $13 meals and we had a buy one get one free! We tried to tell them the price wasn’t right they wouldn’t listen.
I had the lobster canelone and my husband had a chicken fettuccine. They were both very tasty. We also had the bruschettas for appetizer and an apple cheesecake for dessert which for me is very sweet but my husband loved it.
This place is the best. Love the food, and it has a small restaurant atmosphere. Alex, the chef is awesome. Best Italian in Statesville.Food: 5/5
The food is amazing i cannot even describe how good it is, its literally the best thing i have ever tasted In my whole life time!
The service was fast, food was delicious and the employees were really nice. We went for a family dinner and we loved it.
We hosted our work Christmas party here last night and I just cannot say enough good things about the experience. From the absolutely lovely and attentive staff to the truly fantastic food and don’t even get me started on the cheesecake OMG!, the night was the definition of perfect. If you haven’t had the chance to dine here, I highly recommend it and I can say for sure that we’ll be back a lot!
