Always clean and neat compared to other Michaels stores. Usually friendly informed staff that is ready to help... although sometimes scarce due to staffing issues. Now a days you have to go to retail stores with a few extra patience and things will be fine. Overall, it is a 5-star experience. Always clean and well stocked with the latest and greatest!!
The in store pick up is a joke. I recently used my Michael’s rewards money to order 2 tees and a sweat shirt. I got to the store to find out they “didn’t have” the sweat shirt in stock. The young woman explained that it wasn’t in stock and that I should be refunded and she apologized cause their inventory is not always up to date. I understood but decided to see if they had other colors in stock of the missing item. Low and behold very quickly I found the item that I was told was out of stock. I approached the sales girl and explained that they indeed did have it. She then informed me I needed to Purchas the item again since my refund was not fully processed yet nor could she just give it to me. She then offered to hide the item for me for when I could come back and purchase it. Frustrated I just walked out and will go to another store.
Came in a few weeks ago, to purchase glue for work, the store is huge,and no workers around to ask questions. However, the only person on the floor decided to follow me, once I noticed I was being followed through the store, I asked the nice rep to hold my basket and shop with me instead. Problem solved. This week, again I went back yo Michael's this time the only person available did not know how to process the tax exempt form, once again another teaching moment, I also had a $5 voucher that they didn't know how to apply to the purchase. Definitely never shopping here again.
The. Only reason for 3 stats is because no matter time or day there is NEVER anyone around to ask questions to. Other than that michaels has everything, is neat & clean.
Surprised to find the place to be busy on an early Sunday morning, found everything I needed, and on the way out the cashiers were the fastest I've ever seen.
I am a new landscape painter and I found everything I needed here and more. I see thta, as I grow and expand in my creativity, I can get what I need here. Things were well organized and easy to find, with reasonable prices.
I don't understand why they don't have certain things during certain times of year when those certain things are used year round. Like macrame plant hanger pot holders these things are used more so inside homes then outside therefore it is a year-round item.
This is a single star not for this store, but the corporate policies these stores operate under. It is absolutely insane that stores offer different prices online than in the store, but absolutely ludicrous that they are not allowed to match in-store purchases with their own online prices. The argument that it is a better way to manage stock and overhead is invalid, because I can walk out the front door, place my order, and walk back in to pick up my purchase. Come on folks, get with the times.
The only negative is more associates are needed on the floor to assist customers! Super Clean Inside!
Heather in custom framing is great. Attentive and knowledgeable. Great follow through.
