Amazing place. Authentic Phillipino food with diversity through out the menu. Surprised three of my friends from the Phillipines by taking them here. We all loved it. We ordered a lot of dishes just to be able to try more things since we live about 6 hours away in Massachusetts. We were extremely happy with every single dish and the service provided by the server and Chef her self. Chef killed it and delivered extraordinary foods. WE WILL DEFINABLE BE BACK, as restaurant workers with combined 30 years experience and food world travelers we highly recommend Fil-Am Restaurant and catering while in the area!

I have found a gem! Great food, cooked to order in my case. Good portions at reasonable price. Packaging for take home is leak proof. Love the nuance of their kare kare recipe. Like The Terminator, I’ll be back!Food: 5/5

Literally the best restaurant I've ever eaten at, I strongly recommend coming here, my spouse and I loved our food, best spring rolls and the sauce that comes with them is my favorite, the curry was also the best I've ever had, and the taro milk tea was the best I've had as well, if you get a chance to eat here you should, they are super friendly too, also have a nice grocery area, felt that the pricing was very affordable.

Incredible food! Everything I've eaten so far has been delicious. It's a family operation, and you can feel the love of cooking when eating there. The grocery side is also great, and they're happy to help if you're unfamiliar with the items and need some guidance. If you're hesitating stopping in, just do it!

Very beautiful family store attached to a restaurant. The food took the perfect amount of time to cook and the chefa wonderful lady brought out the most delicious HOT dishes such as sweet spaghetti, beef mami soup and tuton with jackfruit. Such a beautiful culture and as a foodie my pleasure to try some authentic filipino food.

Nice Filipino store! I didn't expect Middletown to have one but I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to buy the stuff I needed while heading home from a mini vacay. The store is well-managed and clean. Another thing I found out is that they ship items as well as accept drop off balikbayan boxes. They usually open at 1 pm on Sundays but today, they opened early which I was thankful for!

Unbelievably tasty food and unlike most restaurants these days, they gave us exactly what I ordered. Highly recommend the pork bbq skewers, juicy and tender, long beans in coconut milk, perfectly cooked and still a little crunchy, and the fragrant and well seasoned garlic rice. Can’t wait to go back.

Such good food. Felt amazing to support a local business that nonetheless supports my spending here and also supports my health. Wayne was awesome to talk to and a very interesting guy amongst his grandparents and everyone else i.e. staff that are all extremely helpful and dedicated towards what they do. Order their pancit or pork specialties, & next time I come I'll buy some groceries as well! Vegetarian options: So many options. I personally dont like pork in noodles, only pork in rice or by itself on the bone, and they made my dish with chicken and large with no pork as I asked. They are very accomodating, more than many other Asian takeout institutions. Four years ago, I wrote my first review of Fil-Am Kitchen and Catering in Middletown. This afternoon, my wife and I decided to try the restaurant again. The food and ambience continues to be excellent. Besides the cafe which continues to serve fresh to order food, the market has a good supply of items. The staff is very courteous and respectful. We will definitely be back!!! Vegetarian options: There are menu items that are vegetarian Dietary restrictions: All food is cooked to order. Parking: Fil-Am is located in a medium size strip mall where parking is abundant in front as well as the side of the cafe.
