Recently switched ownership from Carroll Fuels to High’s. The gas is reasonably priced! You can also get milk, butter, and eggs from Wally’s if you don’t feel like driving further away to a grocery store.
Good food if you can actually order it. I feel like many times, though the kitchen is supposed to close at 8:00 they will say they are closed at like 7:15. Makes it kind of frustrating when you’re expecting to be able to order dinner after soccer practice.
Wally's used to be a reliable place to get a real egg sandwich. Now, they have a brain dead cashier lady who has a thousand mile stare, can't pay employees enough to keep them on staff, and two mice ran from behind the potato chips when I went in this morning. Royal farms is a better option this place has become a joke.
The Supreme Pizza is amazing! When I come back into town, this will be my go to spot for gas and all. The staff are very nice and gas prices are fair as well. All in all I would recommend this place to everyone.
Wally's Country Store brought this store out of the stone age and has provided real convenience to the area. Generally, I find their staff friendly and accommodating. They seem to do their best to keep their gas prices competitive and I enjoy their breakfast sandwiches from time to time. Their pizzas are good, too. They continually update their services.
I have been a customer of Wallys for a long time. I was in there this week and this old woman named Janet was very rude and disrespectful towards me. Come to find out she is the owner of the store. I own my own company and would never talk to a customer like she talked to me. If it wasn’t for the cheap fuel prices I would never go there again after my treatment this week. I will definitely try my best to keep people from buying her products. I have never had a problem with any of the employees over the last 10 years. I’ll tell you what she definitely needs to reassess what being a business owner is about because in my personal opinion I think she is an arrogant B****. I wouldn’t care if I never met her again.
This place is great. Janet is so warm and welcoming. The food is great, and can’t beat these gas prices. The hometown feel is refreshing after living near the city for so long and dealing with the larger companies trying to squeeze me for all I’m worth.
Good gas prices, bad customer service. If you have a debit/credit card, feel free to get gas, but for anything inside, take your money elsewhere.
Summary: unfriendly staff and gas is too expensive. The woman working in the morning is completely unfriendly--- i've waited in line and unless she knows you and I suppose are a life-long local, she is a complete B. Mornings are hard enough sometimes without having to put up with people like that. Sorry wally- you wont be getting any more of my money to pay her hourly wage.
Great cheesesteaks! Better cheesesteaks than in Philly. I prefer wallys over Pats, Genos or Dalesandros. Great beef, real cheese and its wrapped tight instead of sloppy and overstuffed like in philadelphia. $7 for a half but its worth it.
