Everyone who's into ferris wheels should try the swinging gondola. It's like being into two rides in one. The views are amazing and you'll enjoy being onboard for a reasonable amount of time.
My daughters loved this! I didn't care for the swinging car but my daughters sure did! The view was amazing from up that high! Loaded and unloaded much faster than a regular ferris wheel!

A rose by any other name. I know they've changed the name now, but this ride still offers classic ferris wheel views. Watch out for or make sure you get if that's your thing the sliding cages. Nice views of the park, neighboring Disneyland, and Anaheim.
I understand now why it is called mickey wheel of death We didn't know what we signed up for, scariest ride ever and i did plenty of rollercoasters around the world No seat belts, gondolas swing like crazy, was an inch away from puking. The face of the kid in our cage said everything he was ready to die and puke at the same time. We Googled the cursed ferris wheel after we were done we are not alone. Seriously, scariest wheel ever
This is 5 stars based solely on the views! You can go for a old school fixed basket or one which swings and moves as the wheel rotates. Either way you'll love the views of California Adventure and time it rights and the lights make everything even more magical.
