Mid Plains Health Center

I went there 8-18-2011. Saved my life. They showed me compassion when I had no compassion for anyone or anything. They gave me tough love. That's what I needed or I never would have gotten sober. In August I will have 12 years sober. They gave me hope. Thank you.

Terrible service!!! I tried yet again to get a counselor with them I can not. My mental health is down rhe drain. Why????? Can't I get help!!!!! I need help!!! The lady behind the counter was rude and no sign of compassion

I decided to delete my original review where I ranted about medication mostly based on my own experience and slanted research. If it helps, great! Anyway, I was misdiagnosed several times, and also realized that my mental issues were more spiritually influenced than anything else. I realized in retrospect that my biggest hurdle is social anxiety, and my advice to therapists would be to determine if their client is struggling with social anxiety before dealing with other issues, because once you get your client over the social anxiety hurdle, they will be more likely to open up about other issues. That's just my two cents based on my own personal experience, not a professional opinion.

I lost at least 8hrs overtime pay $128.00 to be at an appointment. I needed to change medications which Dr. Johnson said to do over the phone. I left a message 8-22-22 for Doctor Johnson to call me which as of my appointment today still was not returned. No communication between the staff and a half hearted apology for their unprofessionalism and failures. Seek help elsewhere.

Mid plains CSU is fantastic beyond compare. Mid plains itself sucks. Their professional kept saying I was bipolar when she was just a little graduate and I've been out there for 35 years and no one has said I was bipolar. Major depressive yes anxiety yes that borderline personality yes if she even knew what that was. They're med manager APRN Jessica Sawyer cannot read legal documents. After showing her I've been homeless for a year and a half lost jobs even while sober have been in and out of Good Samaritan and Brian memorial on them later near death she determined I was not disabled and I lost my section 8 housing. Fortunately no one in my past or present agreed with her whatever she was doing. I don't want to be disabled but I cannot function in society after a year and a half of being homeless I was getting back on my feet and she just took my feet out from under me and then called a welfare check on me. Funny the police said they'd be angry too.

I was very disappointed with Mid-Plains. I went in there for detox. Grant it I was drunk and 12 hours before I took pain meds. They told me I had to have medical clearance before I could be admitted. I went to the ER and got my clearance and they still refused to take me. I spent $1805.00 for no reason and no help at all. I will never recommend them to anyone. In fact I discourage anyone to go there. This was on January 13, 2018. I am now just over 90 days sober thanks to Valley Hope in O'Neill.

I go here for Meds, have always been treated with dignity and respect. The staff are friendly and helpful

They got me in the right medication cocktail to help me feel human. My therapist there is amazing too.

Would rate a zero.my wife waited 5 hours to get a metal health bed to start service.they are unproffesional and do not know what they are doing.they will tell you they will help you then let you wait and wait and wait.terrible service.go somewhere else.if you bring in snacks you have to share with everyone.

Great place to work! Good People! The MST Teams are Amazing!
