Great place out in the middle of nowhere with that dive bar type atmosphere that we just love. The food was good nothing great but definitely decent. We had the sourdough patty melt with some fries. This place is frequented mostly by four-wheel and side-by-side vehicles. It's so far out it is ran off a generator system. But the people inside that work there were polite pleasant and nice.
Get local spot to stop and grab a bit to eat. The hamburgers are excellent. The french fries are the best I have had in a long time. I timed my drive from Elko so that I could have lunch here. Everyone is very friendly. Fast service. They have a nice selection of items to choose from for lunch. The restrooms are always clean. Plenty of parking and easy to find.
Nice historic stop. Food was good with friendly service. Sat outside on picnic tables. Rubin sandwich and a burger. Don't pass this up make it a destination on your Hwy 50 trip.Food: 4/5
A perfect stop on a beautiful desert road. Amazing staff, delicious burgers, and a great historic site. Gives you that hometown tavern feel. Very nice owner as well. Was lucky to meet him.Food: 5/5

Good food and great atmosphere. Stopped in while out riding trails with my Side by side. Place has history that's explained by signs. Great stop when ur in the area Parking: Plenty of room if ur pulling a trailer

This is an oasis in the desert, picturesque and very unique... beautiful place the food is very good, reasonable the price is fair, the customer service is not very friendly, the waitress made me wait an hour to serve me and her attitude She was very, very rude to me ... The very warm atmosphere with other clients, the unique decoration is a place that if I pass through here again I will visit... It is a place that we must visit so that the local economy gains strength.
