Awesome live music venue where we've played a few times. The sound people are generally nice and the bartender is great. They have a k-cup machine behind the bar so technically theyre actually a cafe. They even have cute ceramic mugs if you get a coffee how rad is that. I recommend going to one of their matinee shows especially if its winter since it's dark anyway so you don't feel lame for being a concert at 4:45pm.
Love the Midway! It's a classic dive bar with all the great points that a dive bar has. Great bar staff, cheap booze, eclectic crowd, just great. And this weekend they turned 35 years old! #35andstillalive
We had so much fun playing here! Snappy quick sets, really sweet staff and high energy little vibe!! Safe and fun environment. If you support local and regional rock bands look no further than Midway
Wicked Cool bar. Like stepping back into the 50's and 60's. Great little stage . We were lucky enough to see a great heavy metal band "Poison T" performing . The front Man "Joe" is a really good guitar player and unique singer. He also puts so much energy into the whole expérience. Drummer and bass guys were awesome too. A few other singers performing were good too. There's nothing around that can compare to this Wicked Cool Bar. Just a great night out.
Intimate neighborhood-feel venue for new and good music Cafe style makes it comfy, friendly and fun.
Had a lot of fun here playing in School of Rock band. The acoustics were excellent for a small venue. The vibe was good, place was clean. Drinks were nice.
One of my favorites for stand up comedy on Sunday nights 9 pm “Host Rob and josh Easily my favorite of the host“ The madness is very amusing It goes late nobody would hate if you left early Dylan might have a weave Also has great bartender skills
Singlehandedly keeping live independent rock music alive in Boston! Love the Midway, love Lenny at the bar, love the friendly divey vibes, love it all. Thank you Midway!
One of the best local spots to see live music. Always a good atmosphere.
Nice atmosphere, polite staff, pretty good sound and good sight lines for a small club. Hadn't been there for several years and it appears that it's been redesigned. There was a beam on the stage that players were prone to hitting their heads on. That is gone and the stage is much more open overall.
