I'm here all the time, it's a great library. There are lots of events and they offer craft kits for the kids frequently. Im looking forward to the homeschool meet and greet this week. The online services are amazing also. I use the Hoopla and Libby apps constantly as well as reserve holds and interlibrary loans.
My first time at this library and the staff was very welcoming. However, the quiet room smelled like Marijuana probably a patron who smokes, so I sat at a table in the main room. Not 20 minutes later, I could hear the children banging on toys, moms hanging out with their kids being loud, and no one would close the children's room door or ask the parents to please keep their kids quieter while in the main room. For an hour, I and the other patrons had to suffer in silence. Even after asking staff for the room to be closed and parents reminded to keep quiet, I think it's unacceptable for the library manager not to consider other patrons visiting the library. I won't be going back in person if I can avoid it.
The MWC Library is fantastic. Love the lobby with attractive display area for art. Came few days ago to pick up paintings the Mid'Del Art Guild had on display before donating to Pivot's Tiny Homes for Teens. The staff is always so helpful. I noticed a tree to display books, quilt and other art by staff to cheer up space. Well done!
Not for adults!!! It's a day care and with a strong stench of pot everywhere. Not exactly a welcoming place. I try to order books on line to avoid the place, even though I'm a PROPERTY OWNER and pay property taxes for the place to exist!!!

Loved visiting MWC and it's Library yesterday. I was telling my mom how much I hated her living by herself since Dad passed. I felt like MWC was falling apart around her but since I visited you I have changed my mind.
The library has become a daycare center for parents and /or guardians to bring their children there. Some of the customers feel entitled to bully other customers.
The staff is rude/passively aggressive not necessarily all of them, not understanding of customers' issues, who are often low income and struggle with problems the staff is too ignorant to imagine or try to sympathize with and will likely never have to deal with. Typical college-educated brats that grew up comfortably in a well-off household with no perspective of the world, who get cushy government jobs with no accountability for anything they say or do like a lot of government employees, they're pretty good at enforcing the library rules on the tax-paying customers, but they themselves get to bend the rules.
