I had such an amazing time shooting this wedding at the Millennium Center in Winston Salem. The venue is gorgeous and they give you access to shoot anywhere including the roof. I've added some photos from the last wedding I shot there, you will see some photos that we took on the roof. The staff and folks that work there are truly amazing, and helped my team and I accomplish anything that we wanted to. If you are newly engaged, you should consider having your big day here!
Loved it. Absolutely beautiful place. Could use more bathrooms thou. Went to see The Lacs, Justin Champagne, and Dustin Spears there. Concert of a lifetime for me absolutely amazing
Seeing "The Chain" perform in December, 2022, was my first time back to the Millennium Center in many, many years. A lot remained the same, but some updates were noted – mainly the stage and the bar. Sound quality was okay for the small space. Good lighting effects. Wine options at the bar were limited. Additional seating would have been appreciated. Otherwise, a great show. Clean space. So glad this is an option for music acts in downtown W-S, even after all these years!

I was hired as the videographer for The Winston-Salem Street School. I had prepared a video to show at the event some 350 people. The MC allowed me to come in a day before and test run the video. At the event I was treated so kindly by EVERYONE on the staff. They take the experience of being there at an entirely new level I have filmed at the Ritz, the 4 Seasons, the Wynne and nothing compares to the Millennium Center. I am sharing some pictures of the event, but one of the cool things was that Greg Carlyle, the owner, gave me a behind the scenes tour of this magnificent building. You could have a wedding here, a couple of concerts, and a breakout business meeting all at the same time and never know what else was going on. The video production allowed me to really shine as their monitors were carefully placed all over the room...and the sound was AMAZING. Crystal clear and never overpowering! Thank you MC for making my first event experience the most amazing in my 30 years of events!
If you are looking for a venue to your event, look no more. We threw a 15 quinceañera party yesterday for +200 guests and it was simply amazing! The place is an historical building very well kept and maintained specially for events, big enough for huge parties but also sizeable for smaller events. It is an elegant place with beautiful lamps and illumination. Said that, I want to be very specific about the most important part when investing in a party or event: Service. Service is what makes any place outstand from the rest and believe me At The Millenium the service is Wonderful! Prior to the event- along the setup and the day of the event, the Owners who are always on top of every detail, Mary, Manuel the Chef and the rest of the Team they are always open to help, and willing to go above and beyond to make your event the most special one ever. No need to say that food was delicious, service during the event and decoration were impecable at all levels.
We came to watch Papadosio ft. The Snozzberries presented by Ziggy's and we left pining over the interior of this gorgeous venue that included very friendly staff.
I was so amazed going to see a concert here. I got to see Papadosio and the Snozzberries! Such a great space for shows. There were cool vendors and a full bar.
A wonderful evening in a historical building. Good times, good friends and good food. Highly recommend.
I got married at the Millennium Center this month! We planned a larger wedding in three months with absolute ease. The Millennium Center is one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen and makes for a perfect back drop for any wedding. Everything I had envisioned came to life on my wedding day. I am still hearing from guests how amazing the food was. The staff at the Millennium Center never fell short, and the service could not have been better. Everything speaks for itself at the Millenium Center, however what is more special about this venue are the owners, Greg and his wife Edie. Greg and Edie will work alongside you without one detail being missed. They are there to answer any questions you have and truly care about the vision a couple has. It takes special people in this line of work, and Greg and Edie are just that. They became family by the end of it all and I owe a perfect wedding day to them. I can't thank Greg, Edie and the staff enough for making my wedding day perfect.
