WS Ultimate Summer Bar League #USBL
Who wants to win the Ultimate Labor Day party, with free food, booze, and music for you and 20 of your closest friends?! We know you do, so come out and join the Ultimate Summer Bar League. All you do is come out to any or all of our participating bars and play games. The best part is points are accumulated all summer long for participation and each bars 4 highest point leaders are entered in the championship, so the more you play, the better your chances are.
-the games rotate monthly, starting with cornhole, then trivia, and then life size jenga.
-Teams are 2 players each
We will kick off the week beginning Sunday, May 25th
Cornhole will be our first game. It will run through the week of June 15th with the qualifying 16 teams (4 per location) competing at Ziggy’s Tues. June 24th.
Teams will compete each week to qualify via an elimination style match. Additionally, we will use a points system only to qualify teams for the final big event. Each team will receive 50 pts for participation (per day/not per game). The cornhole games will be played elimination style. Winning teams will receive another 50 pts.
The winning team from each week will go to Ziggys June 24th for the cornhole tournament. The winning team will earn an additional 50 points. 50 points again will be awarded for each team who participates.
(The reason we are doing points and elimination is to maximize attendance. The weekly winners will participate in the individual game tournaments, however each bars 4 highest point leaders will compete in the final tournament for the grand prize)
Trivia is next and will start the week of June 29th. It will run through the week of July 20th with the trivia tourney at Second and Green. Again each bars weekly winners will compete in the trivia tourney, elimination style with points for participation and winning. Exact date TBA.
Trivia will be 2 man teams. 50 points earned for participation and 50 points to the winning team each week. 3 rounds of 10 questions each.
Life size Jenga starts the week of Aug. 3 and runs through the week of Aug. 17 with the jenga tourney at Southern Smoke Wed. Aug. 27th. Again each bars weekly winners will participate in the jenga tourney, elimination style with points for participation and winning. Again, 2 person teams.
Grand Finale will be Sunday, Aug. 31 at SOUTHERN SMOKE. This is where the points count. We will take the 4 highest point leaders from each bar to compete for the Ultimate Labor day Party.
