This place is built to invoke France and it does quite a splendid job doing so! I love coming here for some comfort food that blends French and American cuisine. Their French onion soup is my favorite! It is covered with a layer of cheese and bread and it makes everything taste so delicious. I always make sure to get a cup when I am here I also got the roasted chicken crepes, which are great! They are filled with chicken, veggies, and a cream sauce inside the crepes while at the same time, feeling very light! It works really well when you're counting calories.
Love this place! I really like the french themes and french spin on the food. I had the chicken crepes and the starter platter with the chicken tenders and zucchini fries.
Mimi's Cafe is a wonderful place to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Service is impeccable anything you want that get it for you. The picture below was brioche French toast with eggs and sausage, coffee and a mimosa. And instead of maple syrup they offered me strawberry puree which was wonderful on the French toast. The puree is made their fresh not bought.
This is wonderful place for family and larger group. Food is decent. I tried three bacon avocado omelette.
Waiting to pick up thanksgiving dinner has been an awful experience! Have been in line for 45 minutes and will probably need to wait 20-30 more. I have already paid for the food so, there is no choice but wait. There is no area for queing some people are having to wait outside in this cold winter morning. This is first and last time I order from mimi's caffee.
Denny's food at twice the price and half the service. TL;DR: Mimi's is buying their 5 star reviews. Photo as proof. Believe nothing from those reviews. Service: Wait staff, was unbelievably bad. My drink order was taken by the host. My food order, after 5 minutes of waiting, was taken by the host. It was 8:30 in the morning on a Saturday. Her area was about 60% capacity, 5 tables. She NEVER introduced herself as the waitress, and only brought my food and my check. Redeeming quality was the busser was so good I honestly thought he was my waiter. He brought coffee, asked if I needed anything, and even had some friendly conversation. Needless to say, my tip went directly to him. Manager was receptive to my direct complaints but she's clearly heard it before. Side note: Nothing was offered to make amends, but I didn't expect it nor would I have accepted. Food: Mediocre at best. Sausage link was mushy. Eggs were average. The "malt" waffles were clearly Bisquick. ZERO malt flavor or anything different from traditional waffles. Eggy to a fault. "Fresh" berries were clearly previously frozen. Owners: Cardinal sin. Buying reviews with muffins. Terrible ingredients. Weird French decor in a brick cabin? Clearly never been to France. Confusing at best, insulting at worst. Avoid at all costs.
went in to dine and ordered rib eye steak strawberry lemonade..rustic chicken with artichoke ..breads and carrot cakes were good...staff were very nice and accomodating...nice place and lots of choices to choose from.
Outdoor dining available. Super sweet waiter. I wish I would have gotten his name. Tall gentlemen.
The service is normally very friendly and prompt, I've only ever been fairly early in the morning, but it's an easy quick place to grab a big breakfast. Not many other options close by.
The server was great. The food was good. The service waiting time on food was better than before. They served me out of date sour tea. I thought I was going to be sick. The greater kept going out saying they will clean a table and finally the server had to do it. The previous 5guest was upset with him and slammed their glass on the floor shattering them. After we finally were seated, it was good.
