Reviews
The only reason for a 4 star is it was cart path only. They just re-seeded, but you can drive around to the other side. Greens were in good shape, layout is good, scenery is fantastic!
Gorgeous golf course community. Very beautiful setting. Large clubhouse with restaurant. Homes are priced reasonably.
Top end course conditions. Greens rolled true & fast. Played the Arnold Palmer course which seemed a lot friendlier than the Pete Dye course, who loves to place penalty area's water hazards mainly on the left side of the fairways which isn't conducive for balls hooking or drawing too much. Those elevated greens were no joke either.
Take out is very discouraging. Never get the order correct. How do you forget syrup when you order pancakes???? Doesn’t know the meaning of crispy! It’s a constant reoccurring situation. Very disappointed
Beautiful venue for golf! Staff is great. Pete Dye course is challenging and Arnold Palmer is more playable. Manicured courses.
Course is fine but a Marshall showed up on hole 13 and said we were 3 holes behind and we needed to pick up, but the pace clock said we were 15 minutes ahead of pace. We finished 20 minutes ahead of pace but didn’t enjoy the last 4 holes. That was completely unacceptable by the marshal. He obviously had no clue what our pace was nor cared.
Played the Pete Dye Challenge, I was told they have taken 18 of Pete Dye's signature holes from around the world and put them together to create this beautiful and challenging golf course. When in doubt take an extra club on your approach shots, those bunkers guarding the greens are beautiful to look at but a beast to get up and down from.
It is well kept here and the golf course is nice. The guards at the gate are always friendly couldn't ask for more cncsbeautyandmore
I am shocked more reviews aren’t being honest. The cart personnel are mostly the rudest, condescending people I have ever met. Just the worst and this is over 100s and 100s of courses. Pro shop is fine, but the cart “boys/men” are so bad it completely ruins the experience. The pro shop has to know/the front office has to know, and they allow it. It was the theme of everyone I talked to over a week, just how aggravating our experience has been. Rich
The Dinah Shore Course at Mission Hills Country Club is one of our all-time favorites. Definitely a must play if you have the opportunity. Sad to see the LPGA leave this iconic course.
