The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Palm Springs is a luxurious, world-class hotel that offers guests an unforgettable experience. I recently stayed at the hotel and was beyond impressed with the level of service and amenities. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive, and they went out of their way to make sure I had a great stay. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The on-site restaurants were excellent, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The hotel also has a pool and spa area, which was a great way to relax and unwind after a long day. The pool area was well-maintained and had plenty of seating for guests to enjoy.
We just returned from a wonderful stay at The Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage. From the moment we walked into the resort, the staff made us feel welcome and the service quality was evident. All were extremely warm and friendly. Joseph at the front desk welcomed us with early check-in and many recommendations for our stay that were invaluable, including neighborhoods for us to visit to see Mid-Century modernist homes. We loved our room, which had a beautiful view of the desert valley and mountains. And we enjoyed hiking the 4 trails that surround the resort. Breakfast in the State Fare Bar & Kitchen and was outstanding. We dined and/or had cocktails every day on the terrace and were grateful we had luckily scheduled our trip during the nasty weather in DC. We note the outstanding service of Jonas, Magali Salvador and Ron who work in the bar/terrace areas. Jonas took extra care of us and always had time for a friendly chat and suggestions for sites to visit in the area, which we really appreciated. We spent several lovely afternoons at both pools where all the staff were top notch and friendly. Star gazing at the resort with the teams who oversee the telescopes was fantastic. The overall stay was so wonderful that we are planning to return at the same time next year.
Do not bother staying at this broken down hotel called the Ritz Carlton. Make sure you read the reviews. You will see how run down this hotel is. The rates are $750 plus and if you use points, you will still need to spend a $1000 out of pocket. Which would have been fine if it was worth it. The rooms are falling apart. The showers hardly work while water leaks onto the floors. Toilets don’t flush. No electrical outlets for new iPhones. Menus are ancient with not modern choices. A/C sounds like a plane is landing in your room. You will also have to walk a mile to the pool. You will not get any peace and quiet here. Manager was alerted and moved us to another location directly in front of their club which serves food and drinks. This was his was of accommodating and we just gave up at this point. After our stay, he tried to accommodate us with partial points! Another insult. The boutique hotels charge the same but customer service blows any 5 star hotel away. I will never step foot at this hotel again. The manager replied to my review on another site saying she wants to reach out to me and when I responded she never replied. Please do not waste your money here. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that are 20 times better than this place.
Beautiful property, and the location is amazing. Sitting up on the hilltop is very quiet with amazing views of the San Jacinito mountains. When you come down the long driveway you are right in the heart of Rancho Mirage. World class dining, day spas and activities are right here. You are also only a short drive to Joshua Tree National Park. We took a couple of days off and stayed on property to enjoy the on-site restaurants, pools and their spa and gym.
Great hotel with exceptional service. Yes it's pricey but what do you expect from this brand? Come prepared to spend but enjoy yourself - the fire pits , spa, views, and signature cocktails. No self parking - strictly valley and yes also pricey $40/night Rooms: Rooms are nice and fairly spacious Walkability: Nice pathways on which to walk around hot Food & drinks: Great cocktails but very pricey $22+ each
Stayed here for a work conference. The rooms were decent. The service was quite good. Staff members are very attentive. And if you make eye contact with any staff, they will acknowledge you and say hello. Beautiful sunset view. The gym had great cable machines, free weights and bunch of treadmills and ellipticals. Had an issue with getting locked out of my room twice when I was told my extending my stay by one day had gone through. It didn't and was told I'd be charged the normal rate instead of the convention group rate. A lot of back and forth and escalation to get it resolved. Shouldve been resolved much more quickly... but overall a decent experience.
My wife and I just got married this past Friday at the Ritz. The whole occasion was nothing short of amazing, from the time we first set foot on the property to tour the wedding spaces. The service is the best we've had at a resort style property. Working with Jennifer Saccardi from the events team was an absolute pleasure and the entire staff that helped us was equally as great. We received so many small goodies & kind gestures throughout our weekend. Definitely give the Ritz a look if you are looking to get married in a desert setting. We already can't wait to go back, maybe for our anniversary. The resort itself is beautiful, offering stunning views from just about anywhere you go. While the Edge Steakhouse is still temporarily closed, State Fare offered great cuisine & drinks. The Spa may be the best we've ever been to & the gym has ample equipment, including a couple Pelotons. There was nothing more relaxing than lounging at the pool there's two the day after our wedding, with great poolside food/drink service. I really can't say enough wonderful things about this property and the people that work here. We're well traveled & have stayed at a lot of Marriott properties, this one may very well be the best.
We don’t understand where the negative reviews are from. This place is amazing! Definitely a Ritz stayed at the New York Central Park location previously. We drove our truck worried about valet from reviews and now I feel silly. This place is top notch and nothing but the best for their guests. The spa is amazing! Had the best massage of my life here. Definitely will be back! Ignore the negative comments, people like complaining.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location and staff was great. Rooms were very nice and a great view. It’s interesting that we read lots of reviews and some were not very good?? Once we stayed we realized many are probably BS heck you even wondered if they really stayed there. Food was good at the pool and dining room. The steak house on property hasn’t reopened yet but will in a few months. Plenty of great restaurants in the area. Overall just a great stay. Well done Ritz Rancho Mirage we will be back
Great view dining at State Fare Bar & Kitchen outside tables! Pork chop is a must-have dinner choice! It tastes so different than I had any pork chop before. I guess it may have kind of fruit flavor. Short rib is pretty good as well. I guess Crisp Shrimp is very popular too! Many guests have ordered it last night! I’m a fan of Passion Spring. Tasty and Not too strong.
