I had a surgery recently a couple of days ago on Friday. I had ear tubes placed in both of my ears. All of the nurses and staff that I saw while I was there, were so nice, friendly, and explained every step in a way that I could understand it and exactly what was going to happen. They asked me if I had any questions before going on to the next step. They went above and beyond. The operating room nurse was so nice to me and made sure that I knew that she was going to be there with me the whole time during my surgery. Dr. Tomek came in my room before my surgery to ask me if I had any questions. Overall, it was an awesome experience! I definitely recommend this surgery center!
Update: Had a total knee replacement on my right knee done this week and everything was as expected. Exceptional service. They have surgeries down to a science and have employed caring and compassionate staff to tend to your needs. Thanks Meghan and Roxanne for the quality care. Also a huge thank you to Sheila for checking in on me everyday and taking care of my post-op concerns. I will be back once again in another 6 weeks for my left knee and feel grateful that I have chosen MVSC. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurse that discharged me, Abigail, were professional and genuinely seemed to want my surgery go as smooth as possible. It was a seamless experience moving through check in....pre-op....surgery...recovery....discharge. They know how to easily and efficiently make your stay comfortable and stress free. Everyone took the time to try and make my stay a personal experience. A special thank you to "Jessica", the night shift LPN for going above and beyond your duties with my personal care. I will be back in a couple weeks for a knee surgery and after this experience I have no doubts that I will be in good hands. Thank you.
My daughter just had an outpatient procedure and we utilized their services for the first time. They were incredible! Everyone who came into her room made her feel as comfortable as possible. They went above and beyond to put a nine year old at ease in what could have been a scary experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your talent and kindness.
From they very start with Sheila, she is so detail oriented is unbelievable the most reassuring place to go. Lisa the head of RN's so verry helpful and has such a great staff of nurses. My nurses Jessica and Abby were over the top! I am so glad I came here to do my hip replacement. And I cannot forget to mention Sara who did my anesthesia so was extremely good as well. Dr Hoffman this surgery center is a top notch establishment! Thank you Dr.Hoffman for doing what you do best...fixing me up. I need to have knees done next so I will feel very comfortable to return to this great place!
The whole experience at the surgery center was A+. From entering to exiting! The whole staff was kind and friendly. They went above an beyond for sure. I’ve been with my partner for 20 years, not married. In all my medical services she’s never been treated like my partner. Then I came here and they treated her like I’ve always wished medical professionals would, like she’s my other half. Thank you Doctor Hartman and all the staff at surgery center.
I had cataract surgery today at this hospital. It is very well kept and they take all precautions for COVID-19. They explained every step of what they were going to do. My eye doctor couldn’t make my eyes any better with trying new prescriptions. So she referred me to MI valley surgery center in Davenport Iowa. I’m getting my right eye done on the 8th. Everyone is so nice and kept a good eye on me before and after surgery. I didn’t feel a thing and they walked me through everything. If you need a good eye surgeon this is the place to go.
I had surgery on my spine last week at this facility. The team of care providers at this center is outstanding. So caring, friendly and professional. I highly recommend them. Thank you all. You made my experience as easy as possible.
I was so scared to have my surgery. They were so wonderful, made me feel at ease. They have their post-op pain control down to a science. I got up and walked with practically no pain after a knee replacement. It was an amazing experience.
Staff was very kind, helpful and through in their work. Excellent center and I felt like they actually cared about why I was there. I've been in a lot of hospitals since I can remember due to birth defects so I can recognize when a staff is mailing it in and jaded but they all did awesome work.
I just took my Grandmother to have a surgery done. From the moment we checked in the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. The employees really care about what they do is. They were very compassionate!!
