My nasal passages were badly blocked and Dr. Tomek did a wonderful job removing the polyps. Great job, I can breathe again!

Tests showed a 90% hearing loss and I was using hearing aides and experiencing high levels of frustration for almost a year. Dr. Tomek did a procedure suctioning the left ear much more intense than in years past when I had procedures with the myringotomy tubes bilaterally. He then inserted a myringotomy tube and for almost two months there was drainage and first month bleeding. By the time I went back for my 6 month check up, I did not need a hearing device of any kind to help. He is knowledgeable, and yet he listens when he's giving you options, and supports you when you do not choose one he might have advised. In other words, "he works with you." Don't let the young appearance fool you. He has wisdom and experience and he "wants" to help his patients. As a retired nurse, I know a "keeper" when I see one.

My 15 yr old son had surgery. Six days later around 9PM he began throwing up. It was persistent and he wasnt able to intake fluids. I called the number on the after-care sheet as I was told to do if it happened to get something for the nausea. The on-call doc that evening was Dr. Tomek who states "Why are you calling me now instead of during office hours?" Brilliant. There's really nothing like having your son retching post-OP incessantly in one ear while you're listening to an emotional failure in the other. The only thing I said to this man after I introduced myself is that I was calling to get something for nausea for my son and THAT was his response. Get a grip. If you're too burned out to be on call, then don't do the job anymore. Patients and human beings for that matter deserve more respect.

I will only trust Dr. Tomek with my Stenosis of the Trachea. This is a very delicate procedure where anything could go wrong. Dr Tomek chooses to do the Laser Bronchoscopy to remove the scar tissue that is causing the stenosis. Not being able to breath is frightening - I've had several procedures done with Dr. Tomek and with his help I am able to keep a normal life style. He is exceptional in how he treats his patients. He treats each patient as if he has that same problem and totally looks out for their best interest. That is difficult to find today. He listens and has a heart of gold. Dr.Tomek takes the time with you and does not act rushed to attend to the next patient. I highly recommend Dr. Tomek for all your ENT issues.

Dr. Tomek is awesome. He listens to you and takes good care of you. He removed the tonsils and adenoids on my two children and has taken care of my sinus infections issues and deviated septum. Great professionals.

He messed up my sinuses so bad, the doctors at Iowa City literally laughed at his work! 10 years later Iowa City had to go in and remove a cyst cause bu scare tissue he caused! I haven't had a sense of smell after his surgery! Run run away

Frankly I was hesitant to go here after reading some pretty negative reviews. I am happy to report my experiences here have been positive. Dr. Tomek is caring and kind, hard to find in a physician these days. The nurses were all great and their communication and follow-up are greatly appreciated. I recommend ENT and Dr. Tomek.

Dr. Tomek is good. Office staff and mgr is very rude. Staff lies to patients. No communication between each other, problem is within each other the same.

Attempted to reschedule a 5 week old appointment 2 days before with a letter via US Mail. Least "professional" service I have ever received.

I am deaf , Dr always takes good care of me .
