I actually cannot say enough good things about MKM Designs!! I was BLOWN AWAY by my flowers. New York City minimum prices for wedding flowers are so high. Megan was willing to work with my budget. My wedding flowers were nicer than most Manhattan weddings that I've been to. I selected Megan because she had an artists approach to designing the look and feel of our venue. I promise you will not regret hiring her!
Working with MKM Design was hands down the best decision we made in the wedding process Besides getting married, of course!. From start to finish Meg and her team were incredible to work with. Meg and her staff are enthusiastic about what they do, highly skilled at their craft, and always give 110%. After our initial coffee meeting we knew we could trust Meg for bringing our vision to life. She was THE person! It’s hard to put into words how lucky we feel having worked with MKM Design. Our guests still rave about the hanging greenery and table scape that felt like a fairytale scene. Meg is unbelievably creative, kind, witty, punctual, and hard working. She has impeccable taste and takes in every little detail when designing the floral plan– the lighting, color palettes, furniture, table décor, attire etc. Meg isn’t just any florist. She gives SO much personal attention and hours and hours and hours AND HOURS to you as a client in the months leading up to the big day. Meg made our dreams come true and her work went above and beyond our expectations. She is a new friend and someone we will always hold close to our heart. Megan and her team created an absolutely magical scene for my wedding reception. Her creativity helped make my vision a reality and her execution was flawless. On top of that, she's a delight to work with!
Meg at MKM Design knows how to create a floral design that fits your event concept, mood, space and budget. She does beautiful work and is a pleasure to work with. We had her design a centerpiece for our fundraiser at the Alumnae House, and we got compliments on it all night. It really made the space look more special than it already is.
Working with Megan was such a pleasure. I felt like she fully understood and cared about my vision and also added her professional guidance to design the perfect florals for my wedding. She was open and flexible and has such great positive energy. It was one of the few areas of my wedding planning that was not stressful! The end result was beautiful and so true to what we wanted.
Words can’t describe how happy I am that I chose to work with Megan for my close friend’s bridal shower! I wasn’t sure if the event would be too small but as a long time admirer of her work I knew it would be worth asking. Megan was happy to recommend what she thought would work best for the space and season and provided example images in her proposal. The passion Megan has for her art, screams from her arrangements, everything was stunning! The flowers were all anyone talked about the day of the event and for weeks after! The room felt completely transformed after being engulfed with color from all the gorgeous spring floral! My favorite part of working with MKM was the piece of mind that Megan provides. I knew once I contracted that I wouldn’t have to think about it again, she took care of everything. While extremely professional, she has a way of making you feel connected, knowing how important making you happy is to her. Obviously I can’t recommend her enough!
Megan was a dream to work with for our wedding. We had an idea of what we wanted for our flowers but nothing that we could show her as an example. Megan was able to take our ideas and sketch EXACTLY what we both had in mind. The whole process was relaxed and easy. She was clear and concise and her work was gorgeous. The tables and bouquets were perfect and our guests were incredibly complimentary. I dried my bouquet and have it displayed on a shelf - I think we may have framed a picture of our centerpieces before framing a picture of us! So very happy we chose MKM Design for our wedding.
I had the pleasure of working with Megan of MKMdesign for our wedding florals this past weekend. To put things simply, her talent is unmatched. She is meticulous in her execution of each and every little flower and the end result is magic. When we first chose Megan as our florist I gave her an idea of what I liked, sent her a few photos for inspo, but really didn’t give her that much detail - and basically she just read my mind. What Megan produced was pure magic, dreamland, and a fairytale. When she handed me my bouquet, I couldn’t stop staring at it, jaw in the floor. How does someone make something so beautiful? It truly is a work of art. I couldn’t have been more happy with the result of our florals, they made the entire decor of the barn and made every single photo just beautiful. Megan is it, do not look any further!
Mother of the Bride is a hard job! So many decisions...and they all have to be just right on the special day. We were lucky enough to have met Meg through our photographer AJL Studio so we know we had one very good recommendation. But what we didn't know was what an ARTIST Meg is. She is an astute "listener" and heard everything that the loving couple wanted on their wedding day. And more importantly...she has an amazing "eye" for what will work for the family and what will work in the venue. You know that feeling when people ask... "Was it everything you expected?". Well Meg EXCEEDED our expectations and then some. The room was exquisite in every way. The tables, the ceremony, the bouquets, the entire room. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day. Thank you Meg, for making our day magical.....
Megan was my florist for my October 2019 wedding and she KILLED IT. From the moment I booked her she worked extremely hard to make my vision come to life. We had multiple in person and phone meetings because she wanted to make sure she understood my vision. She created this beautiful muse board that was the perfect collection of all the flowers I wanted! My venue was an industrial space and her florals brought the place to life. Megan goes above and beyond for her clients and I could not recommend a florist more! Booking her was the best decision!
